This is nuts. — A defenseless receiver, clear helmet to helmet ( direct not glancing), kid down for the count on the turf with head injury/concussion. —The rules are there to ostensibly protect the players….not the bettor. —

They say it wasn't the crown of the helmet but on replay it sure looked like it.

Here's an idea for a new rule. The crown of the helmet should be painted a different color. That would make it easier for refs to tell.

A real pain for us streamers. Game was on ESPN 2. Switch to it, get to see 3rd down. Then that feed goes to the trophy presentation. I go to ESPN and it says "program not started" twice before it came through.

1. I dislike both teams but I dislike OSU more.
2. OSU is more of a direct recruiting threat than Oregon.
3. If Oregon loses they will have finished with just 1 loss and would likely finish ranked higher than PSU if we lose to ND/GA.

The last replay they showed, I felt like they hit vizor to vizor. It was an upright tackle to me. He wasn't leading, and it wasn't crown, but the helmets touched and the WR was defenseless.

Myself, the one AState got by with was a dirtier hit. Shoulder, leaping into the chest, WR defenseless and another player done got the INT.

Targeting to me is about intent moreso than strictly helmet to head or neck.

The defense is just unreal. They can't be this good next year. I think 8 or 9 of these guys turn pro minimum. Without NIL, 6 of em would be in week 18 on an NFL roster.

Just think, that game should’ve been tied 20-20 with under 5 minutes to go. OSU probably is the best team left, but PSU might be the second best team left.

Both OSU wrs are amazing and make Howard look better than he really is. I agree that if Allar had a Dotson or a Washington level wr Allar is the first qb taken in the draft in April and we are 7 ppg better than current.
