New Year's Day CFP games.

Just stop it. People can be critical. You don't need to come running and pretend you are the defender of all things Penn State, and somehow that makes you feel good.

We are watching the quarter finals of the playoffs. Three games have been played. That's hardly "cherry picking."
And Ewers sucked just a few games ago in the SEC championship game. The point is, you said there are perfect QB’s out there and I’m waiting to hear who that is. Howard sucked against Michigan. And some people can only be critical about Penn State…it gets old.

LOL... When faced with the truth, you call someone a liar.

Beau isn't in the playoffs. He's not even on the team. Are you trying to make a point?
What truth?
Beau isn't in the playoffs because he wasn't good enough--that's why he left--and we're better for it but you're still upset about it.

You're the one obsessed with him--see the angst over a useless player leaving that hurt us because of his demand that he got snaps to stay
You don't watch the game--when you go to stats immediately it's evident you didn't watch. Walk me through the three touchdowns and the pick if you watched. Assuming you can remember something you never saw.

Hey, maybe if you repeat yourself 100 times you will think it is true.

Loado, you are melting down...............

Stat lines.

Allar: 13 for 26, 171 yards and 3 TD's (the second was beautiful).
Ewers: 20 for 30, 322 yards and 3 TD's (go ahead and claim his numbers were inflated due to OT).
Howard: 17 for 26, 319 yards and 3 TD's (and yes, #4 is a beast)

Obsessed with who? LOL....

It is clearly evident Loado. Read the stat lines and confirm what you saw.

Walk you through the TD's.... LFMAO..... You are Loado. Why would anybody do that?
Obsessed with Beau and Allar
"Stat line" = I have no clue what I'm talking about but I saw a box score
You have no clue--zero

Again, stat line--didn't watch the games
All three of Allar's TDs were NFL throws--you're ignoring six (there were SIX) official drops. SIX
Ewers numbers aren't inflated by OT--did you watch the game? At all?

We can be critical about anyone. Let's talk about Dillion Gabriel if you like.

BTW, this is a Penn State message board.

He's never seen Ewers play

Texas: 53 yards rushing
Penn State: 216 yards rushing

You don’t have to pass when you run.

LOL... So you are obsessed with both Beau (who is not on the team) and Allar? What about Grunk?

Now you admit you don't understand stat lines....... Dear Lord Loado, you are a hot mess.

Dillon Gabriel threw 13 incomplete passes today…not perfect…next. And got boat raced.

I think the subject was QB play. That said, I agree with you re: running game.
QB play is often determined by the run game. Drew only had 171 yards passing because we had 216 rushing yards.

Except today when he threw two quick TD's in overtime.
So in regulation he had 1 TD and 1 pick? is that right?
Two very nice throws in OT that we've seen Allar make countless times
Apparently you only watched OT or saw highlights
What down was the first TD on?

True, but he also had 25 opportunities and completed 13 of them. Not all were dropped balls, bad routes, no one open...... which are the typical Loado excuses.

But some were. And I’m not saying he is perfect because unlike you, I know there’s no such thing as a perfect QB. But when all is said and done, Drew is pretty damn good.

Two absolute darts.......... I watched the game Loado. Again, you are trying to make some sort of point that is meaningless. Are you suggesting that only you watched the game therefore only you are qualified to comment?? lol......

6 were drops--that's half
2 were throw aways - screen to Warren in the first half that was taken away and the gimmick play before the first Warren TD
Horrible throw to Warren (that he should have caught), horrible rushed throw to Dinkins, one he lead a receiver (I think Warren) slightly too far with tight coverage on a crossing route and the deep throw to Evans that should have been an OPI
He had bad throws--everyone does--we also have to account for the comp % and yards being damaged by 3 dropped TD passes in less than 1 minute of game time.

Allar is indeed pretty damn good, and there is no such thing as a perfect QB. We agree. Now what?

You didn't watch the game--you ignored the down question because you don't know
If you didn't watch it you can't comment on how he played because you have no clue
Again, Ewers played almost identical to Drew today--underthros on deep balls, took sacks, etc. It's what an elite QB looks like though you can't admit that with Drew.

He doesn't mean that--he wants a dual threat QB and can't let it go

BWAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHHAHAHHAHAAHHA... Yeah, I want a dual threat QB... And I want Rich Rodriguez to the be coach of PSU! LMFAO........... Holy Shit Loado, you are on fire.

Ewers has the physical skills - no doubt. But if you go to the Texas boards, their biggest complaint is not his arm but his decision making which has cost them a few times this year

Your 6 drops weren't easy catches. With a better effort maybe 3 of those get caught. That would have got Allar over 60%.

Saw an article that I didn't read. Is someone offering him $6 MM in NIL money? It's getting ridiculous if true.

The official count was 6--that's not even counting the missed opportunity by Warren on the badly thrown ball
You realize WRs are supposed to be able to make contested catches when the ball is thrown perfectly
It's why we're trying to find anyone in the portal--even guys outside the top 30 because they're hoping they can't be worse.

Can Allar improve in anything?

Can Allar improve in anything?
Every player in the NFL can...that doesn't mean they need to go back to college
He's NFL-ready today. This QB class is weaker than next year. He's losing his top weapon and hasn't gained any of value. There no benefit to his development to return.

Can Allar improve in anything?
This year he improved physically and using his legs when needed. Next year I suspect that he will work on processing the information faster, making earlier throws. They will work on being consistent with his footwork to improve accuracy. He did step up quite a bit this year....I expect the same next year.
