The issue with this flu is that it mutates faster way beyond anything we've ever seen. The original strain jumped and mutated from bat to person that the industry couldn't react to contain or fight it. It now appears Delta was stronger and Omicron is way more transmissible than any flu we've ever seen. It's almost like it was gain of function engineered in some way (snark alert in case anyone missed it).

Not trying to be a dick about anything. It’s just that the simple reality here is that o is vaccine resistant. Now it may be that symptoms are reduced for the vaccinated, which is great, but the sad reality is case rates per 100k are increasing at about the same rate.

Well, about Omicron, it appears it evades the vaccines.

But the fully faxed Pens got clobbered by Delta in October.

By clobbered, I mean their average mile time increased from maybe 5:10 to 5:13.
