Got to love Nico's response to the question that critics think he has a stalling wrestling style - get out on the mat with me for 7 minutes and see if you think I'm stalling.
Might want to post that on the "Mega-staller" thread on HR.
Coming up on 2 weeks after NCAAs, and still get a warm feeling about Nico finally claiming that elusive title. Talk about well deserved.

Not a chance, I never go over there, but I must say I do get some chuckles from some of the quotes our members occasionally bring over here.

Iowa understanding and definition of stalling. Their guy is beating our guy. Their guy is stalling!!
You never see any posters on HR accuse any Iowa guy of stalling, either. The Hawkeyes have practically reinvented stalling the last few years.

It really isn't that difficult to understand.
Anybody who is beating, or even wrestling hard against an Iowa kid is by definition stalling.
Nico wrestles just like a few Iowa all time greats. Huge motor, bigger heart, give not an inch, dominate the battle for positioning and win no matter what. Yet wearing blue and white, not black and gold Nico stalls.
Iowa fans have been ridiculous for years, but this year while they scored zero offensive points in the championship finals their entire focus was everybody else stalled - they raised the bar to preposterously ridiculous.
