Actually I believe we beat UMD in lacrosse once before 99 years ago, in 1920.

It was great to see that our guys played with some spark. That 1st qtr completely stunned the Terps.

I also loved that we had to dig deep and struggle hold off MD’s comeback. It makes the unit stronger for the next challenge and there will be many more of those for sure.

Thought we were cooked, for sure. Incredible resilience by our guys. Buckeyes up next.

Good points. A win like yesterday's should only help the team's confidence and should also prepare them for tough games ahead.

Nope, it was a great win. Comments:
The Good
1. Goal-keeping and face-offs were great.
2. Offense looked sick in the first quarter with every goal looking like a highlight reel. Insane shots on goal got in the goalie's head.
3. Team showed great heart picking up the slack after Ament got hurt.
The Bad
1. 8-1 first quarter will not happen next time, and PSU lost the rest of the game. They can beat them again, but not the same way.
2. Ament is injured, and that's a problem.
3. Maryland is big and physical--expect them to bring it next time.
4. The B1G schedule is going to be really tough with remaining games against a pissed-off OSU, rising Rutgers and JHU (Michigan maybe not as tough)
