Ok - I’ll Pile On Our Special Teams Today!

Have not seen Special Teams mentioned today, so here goes:

So we had to use a first half timeout because of having 12 players on our punt return team.....sure would have been nice to have that timeout in our pocket at the end of the first half.

We also had the weekly block in the back penalty on a kickoff return.

Finally, we were lucky to even have a chance for a final drive after our own blocker ran into Hamler trying to catch Minny’s final punt. Take away those lost 10-15 yards, maybe Dotson’s reception ends up in the end zone.

Yep, this was a TOTAL team effort today in snatching defeat from the opportunities of victory.

Yep, crazy game. Count the number of PSU bad plays versus Minn bad plays and it’s so lopsided in their favor yet PSU could have won this one at the end. Pretty incredible when you think about it. PSU brought their C game. Minnesota brought their A game.
