On deck-Mat 6- DT vs Valencia

Well to be honest, also enjoyed Bubba's pin ;)
Well, while we're coming clean... I felt euphoria when Thomas Gilman was pinned at last years nationals by Zeke Moisey. Kind of the same reaction I got when Q pinned Grant Gambrall in a standing cradle and I got to "sky five", (like a high five... but higher) Cody Sanderson who was sitting next to me at Nationals in 2011. :D

Wildman... Alex Meyer was the #3 ranked wrestler and gets shut out and almost gets majored by the #9 kid in the country. Jimmy didn't get shut out. Meyer was a glaring mistake in being ranked as I told Chief at the start of the season.

And Sport... Jimmie Gulibon will be ranked higher than Alex Meyer after the Midlands.

Did you feel that when Metcalf showed Molinaro "the lights"? Or when Ramos decked Gullyboy and Conway? How did your Boy Andrew Long finish out against Matt McD?

No... I felt that way also when Darrion Caldwell pinned Brent Metcalf and then outsmarted him in the NCAA Finals. The Andrew Long of today just wrecked the field at the Midlands. o_O And your 141 lbers from Iowa got taken to the woodshed. Vincent Turk got teched in his 1st match and Topher Carton didn't fair that much better. Neither finishing in the top eight... and you're trying to blast Andrew Long who was the wrecker of the 141 lb weight class? o_O

Andrew Long has spent more time in jail than Charlie Sheen. And you worship him. Enough said

Anyone that understands that alcoholism is "disease", worships this kid's turnaround. If you really are ignorant of the disease, it's understanding. If not, please go somewhere else to put down a young man that has turned his life around.

I don't know about worship but its certainly admirable. Had it been a DUI or something like that, I think more people would be supportive. I think its just a serious distaste for the crime. Well, when he gets around to working his steps, specifically steps 8 and 9, I hope it goes well for him.

I hope Andrew reads these message boards and sees the support he's getting from the Penn State fans. It would really encourage him to keep going strong.

BTW, there are a lot of people who would be better off avoiding alcohol even if they don't fit the mold of an alcoholic. If you want to exercise bad judgement and do stupid things, drinking alcohol is a good way to do it.

I personally know of two instances where a DUI incident resulted in the death of people. In the first instance a 17 year old girl. In the the second incident a mother and her child were killed. Don't get me wrong, what Andrew did was very bad. But, DUI's can be just as bad or worse.
