On Warren: vision

I have this weird feeling that in one of the next two weeks Warren shifts into the QB position in short yardage, but not in the red zone, fakes the run, peels back and hits Clifford for a TD.

Who else is on board?

Replace Warren with Mustipher and I’m down.

Weird. I had a vision that Kevin Warren assumes the squat position, peels back, and rips a deuce.

They had him throwing to Strange or Theo(forget which one) against Auburn but it was covered. Clearly they will have some passing options with that package.

I think the surprise factor is gone (may be obvisous to everybody here). As soon as he goes under center the D knows it's a trick play. I'd leave Clifford on the sideline for that play and put a big target in there.

The jump pass to a TE is logical. Probably would have been a better call than the second play from that formation. Give him a Wildcat run option or jump pass if they bite down.

The element of surprise is mostly gone with Warren now, but it at least forces teams to practice it.
