Went to take the dog out at half. Came back in and looked at the TV and said what the he** is this?
I heard Arrington on Fox Sports radio this am on my way into work. Lavar was spot on - Ohio State is the best team money can buy. He also expressed his hatred for Michigan in his next breath. I always loved Arrington, but I was very happy to hear his hatred of OSU and Michigan is alive and well.
ND might have 2 or 3 guys that would start for OSU. Howard is playing the game of his life. Excellent decision making and making hard throws.
Not much any DC can do when the other team has superior athletes and is executing at a high level.
Watching this game I just wonder how did PSU lose to ND? ND not competitive at all.

And at that time their coach was straight up called out for it. It was also a back breaking kind of loss. I see the same thing happening now, except Freeman is everyone's darling in the media.
Let's hope the youth excuse dies next year for Drew. I don't want to hear a single "but he is 21" excuse next season.

Impossible. Freeman is the media darling of the world and it's just fine for him to not be ready in the biggest game.

Yeah. Michigan and Penn State can compete with Ohio State at the line of scrimmage. Which at least makes for a decent contest.
Both defenses played poorly. We couldn't get off the field on 3rd down against this pedestrian offense that ND has. They were like 13-18 on 3rd downs...which was on brand for us in a big game.

We failed to blow up the wide receiver room and start over last spring. I said this at the time and people just didn't want to see it.
We lost because we didn't have a D1 receiver on the roster. Period.
