So my wife is guilting me into getting a fitness tracker. I think she just wants me to get one so she can rub it in that she walks around more than I do. Anyway, I have been looking at them and don't want to spend over $100 on one. I am thinking of the Fitbit Charge HR and found one for $79 or the Under Armour Band also for $79. Does anyone have any experience with either or other recommendations for one I may not be considering, again I am going cheap and don't want to spend more than $100. I do prefer one that has a sleep tracker as well as I like to tell the wife I don't get enough sleep! I had the Jawbone Up for a few months while ago and it stopped working so I would like to avoid that one.

Thanks to the all and knowing BWI board!

I have a Fitbit Flex which I really like. It has sleep tracking. Fitbit Flex retails for $80 on their site...I have seen it priced for less on other sites...as low as $50. Only downside is the tracking is done only by syncing to the app...no counter feedback on this device itself. Not an issue for me, but it may be for some folks.

I have the Fitbit Charge HR and really like it. You found one for less than $100? I think mine was about $150. Incidentally, I had an older model of the HR and had some problems with it. I contacted FitBit and they replaced it free of charge, no questions asked. The newer version is much better.

I recently started using the fitbit charge2 (birthday present from my wife). Some of the features I like beside the step tracker are flights of steps climbed, sleep tracking (hours slept, times awake, times restless), hourly activity (number of hours during the day you take at least 250 steps) mine will vibrate on your arm to remind you to get up and move if you have been sitting too long or if you are close to reaching the 250 steps per hour. (I like this feature because I sit at a desk for my job) It has a touch screen that you can tap on the face to scroll thru your stats. It has an app for your smart phone that allows you to get even more in depth info and challenge your friends/family. Still getting used to it, but overall I like it.
