OT: I’m gonna lose 25 pounds by June.

Nice.

My goal is 199. Haven’t weighed that little since I wrestled ims at psu.
We can do it!! This year I was able to get in my walks until early December. I’m hoping to start my very light weight training and walking in early March. 🤞

So I went skiing in Boone for 2 days, 1 day of tubing. Skied 5 hours each day burning 2500 calories and I ate well at dinners!!

Went for for a total of 4 days.

248.9 when I left and Came back and I weighed 257 Monday after super bowl. Wtf.
So I went back on 1700 calories a day and lost 1.5 lb a day since and today I’m at 245. Lol.
So that is 20 down and I only have 10 more days to hit 239.

Ordered 20 yards of mulch on tues for restaurant and I will put it all down and that should do it it for feb. let’s hope!!!
You'll definitely make it if you only eat the mulch! 🤪

So proud of son 2. I always taught him “if you have a problem, just throw money at it”

Trying to get fat level down to where I have dem abs by April or May. Was down to 158 in early July after spending a muntt in the county jail and wasn't eating or working out enough to maintain muscle so with more muscle mass I think I might need to get down to high 160s / low 170s (204 start the year and down to low 190s now) Had never had defined abs despite being an athlete casue Ive always liked to EAT.

Hold on here. Why were you in county?

How's this coming along? I see we're 12 pages in.
From what I'm reading, I believe all of us who are trying to lose weight are doing so and at a decent and healthy rate.

Personally, I'm exercising just about daily (5-8 miles in the treadmill). Keeping fairly strong with the diet, with an occasional reasonable cheat day sprinkled in. Dying for this damn weather to break so I can hit my trails. I also want to pick up a set of weights to workout at home.

I'd include pictures of what I did but honestly, I don't see how. I see how to link pictures from the internet but not direct photos from my device. But I went a little nuts on this and am loving it. Power rack with lat/low row attachments and pullup bar. Hex bar for deadlifts and silencer pads. 5 to 100 lbs dumbbell set and rack. Adjustable incline and a separate flat bench. Preacher curl. Leg extension/curl machine. 20"x24"x30" Plyobox for box jumps. Hyper Back Extension. 8-45lbs plates, 2-25s, 2-10s, 2-5s. A bunch of attachments for the pulley system. Straight bar. Curl bar. Concept2 Rower. TRX and SPIN cycle for the wife. I went about 10k into this project which gives additional motivation to use it daily.

Thought about adding a slant board (may still, they are cheap), leg press (space eater though and can do the work with other means), fly and rear delt machine (can do the work with dumbbells), and calf raise machine (currently doing one leg calf raises with dumbbells in hand holding the hand rail on the steps to the gym). Not sure if I need to do any of this but at some point I might go there. May also want to get a weight belt with chain to attach weights, currently I just cross the legs at the ankle to hold a dumbbell though this can be uncomfortable with heavier dumbbells.

I need to up my game. Last week was a lost week, and I’ve decided not to get on the scale until next week.

This morning was my first time in the gym in a week, and I was able to crush it. I struggled more than usual but was able to push through. That was a good workout.

How did you get to the gym? Ice skate?

download Imgur.com onto your computer, save all your photos to Imgur, then make links from there then hit the rectangle with mountain and sun above this square, insert BAMM pic posted. You need a host like imgur to house your pics.

Sometimes a week off is a good thing in the long run. I've found as I've gotten older that I get more out of that next week or two back if I occasionally give myself at least a few consecutive days here or there for a more full recovery. The first workout or so back might be a little rough endurance-wise though.

Thanks but that isn't really worth it to me. I don't have to share my pictures from my device. In this case, I would have if it were super simple.

Jim, of all the people on here, you should know you can't cherry pick your data.

That’s a well-accepted perspective, that occasional breaks from the gym are recommended for best results. But, for me, when I take a day off I lose discipline and find it harder to motivative myself to persist. So I go every day.

Roads are clear. I had to drive my daughter back to Bethany yesterday and got home too late to take advantage of the balmy weather and clear the driveway. My driveway and walk were frozen solid again this morning, but the roads and sidewalks are clear.
Bethany beach?
