Big win last night. Thoughts and/or observations? Did anyone on this board go to the game?
For as much as I want to choke out Franklin on a weekly basis, he has the team into the semis. That's better than 130 other schools, so I have to give him credit.Typical PSU football game, always seems harder than it has to be. Survive and advance, on to the semis.
That game should have been over at half time. But questionable play calling and the fumble let BSU hang around much longer than they should have.Typical PSU football game, always seems harder than it has to be. Survive and advance, on to the semis.
They need Trainer Dan Monthley! That game should have been over at half time. But questionable play calling and the fumble let BSU hang around much longer than they should have.
I'm impressed they bottled Jeanty up as well as they did. He took a pretty big beating.
I'm sure the trainers and therapists for both teams are quite busy today.
don't know what the coaches are thinking sometimes 3rd and 1 pass when they were running wild on Boise!no need to pass when they are running this welll!Big win last night. Thoughts and/or observations? Did anyone on this board go to the game?

Franklin is playing 3D chess against Spock.
They need Trainer Dan Monthley!
I was there. Great day from start to finish.Big win last night. Thoughts and/or observations? Did anyone on this board go to the game?
I talked with a Boise lady at breakfast this morning ... she said Boise brought 32k fans. I thought it had to be more. Definitely at least 60:40 Boise I would say, and they were loud.Great time. Great game. I'd like to know how many Boise fans were there. Saw a ton of orange.
Thought they had it, but you have to cover those receivers on 4th and long.I talked with a Boise lady at breakfast this morning ... she said Boise brought 32k fans. I thought it had to be more. Definitely at least 60:40 Boise I would say, and they were loud.
Today I watched the second half of the ASU-TX game in the Coach House in Scottsdale with mostly ASU fans ... that second half was so fun, thought ASU had the W in OT
The targeting rule, or the "whatever benefits Ohio State or Michigan" rule?Thought they had it, but you have to cover those receivers on 4th and long.
I also thought they were sitting pretty after the targeting play. I went to the kitchen to grab a hot dog and something to drink. I came back into the TV room and found out the Big10 crew didn't know know the rule.
I hear you, but they covered the spread in the playoff quarterfinals in a de facto away game. PSU was in control from the first drive. It was about as stress-free as you could ask for with a spot in semifinals on the line.Typical PSU football game, always seems harder than it has to be. Survive and advance, on to the semis.
Said this during the game as well.. That guy seems to have Mr Miyagi magic in his hands..They need Trainer Dan Monthley!
They had all out pressure on 4th and 13 after they got to 4th and 13 playing straight up. Why change at that point? To make it worse, they didn’t even get close to Ewers as the Texas line had them stonewalled.Thought they had it, but you have to cover those receivers on 4th and long.

Every football rule reads that way in the Big10 rule book. That all by itself made me wonder what they were doing. ASU most likely can't play with OSU. Texas is big enough and athletic enough to hang with the nature nuts. The targeting rule, or the "whatever benefits Ohio State or Michigan" rule?
Cael and Co are wizards, but I have always said that Trainer Dan Monthley (always full title and name, lol) and Bonnie Epstein are secret weapons that are often overlooked by other teams. At the Michigan Dual last season I had the opportunity to meet both of them. Highlights of the trip, ranking right up there with watching the Civil War veteran step out on the mat and get beat by his 12 year old grand son.Said this during the game as well.. That guy seems to have Mr Miyagi magic in his hands..
Allar threw at least 3 beautiful balls that were dropped. Two of them were in the end zone.Echo the above, huge props to Kaytron Allen, and awesome TD run by Singleton. Allar was inconsistent, but his TD passes were beautifully thrown.
I loved how they shut down Jeantry, reminded me of D’s of old when we shut down Heisman winners like Walker and Allen!
u don't think they may have been underthrown?Allar threw at least 3 beautiful balls that were dropped. Two of them were in the end zone.
we like our guysu don't think they may have been underthrown?
No. If so they would have practiced throwing. So far this game it looks like Terry Brands was Drew Allar's QB Coach.
I saw a shot of AK checking this forum for advice. Also, it's a good thing y'all are here. PSU is running all over the place this drive!
