OT: Tobaccos, Coffees, & Libations

I love my beer but hard liquor just the smell makes me want to throw up!
I am that way with brown liquor of any type. After senior finals we drank Fleischmann whiskey until we were dead. I haven't had a brown liquor drink for 40 years. It reminds me too much of that awful night. I stick to gin, vodka, beer, and wine. I prefer vodka and Belgian/imperial stout beer.

I am that way with Southern Comfort. Can't smell or drink it.

The anise/anus flavored swill makes me ill also.

What bourbon did you choose to bring in the new year? Don’t give me the White claw BS , I went with 15 year old Knob creek.
Been hooked on wheated since Bordo recommended Larceny so I indulged in some Woodford Wheated. Was not disapointed, but Larceny still my fave.

My mother got me an entry level scotch of Buchanan's. I had the Master Reserve bottle or whatever. I'm kinda down with scotch. I'm getting too old to drink 15 Bud Heavies on a weekend evening.

Am I committing sacrilege by pouring it over ice?

Maybe, but talk about sacrilege, I have discovered Costco XO Cogniac, and... like it, a lot!

Extremely Jealous. Maine brews great beer.
Worked remotely and went with my wife to Ft. Kent, ME, once and had a few drinks at the First Mile Brewing Co. Good beer, and you'd be hard pressed to find one further north in the continental US!

Not to be a geography nerd, but Seattle and a large section of the western section of the US is further north. 🤓

Touche! Seattle is 0.35° further north than Ft. Kent. Guess you'd be hard pressed to find a brewery further north in the eastern continental US! Ha
