I was hoping that Tyson could turn back the clock for 1 more fight but he was gassed after the first round. No wonder there aren’t more 58 year olds boxing professionally

Yep, when I read here that Tyson's contract stipulated he doesn't get paid if he knocked him out in the first round, I knew that he had almost zero chance of winning. I still believe that if Tyson went in there with the mindset of setting up one really hard body blow or one crushing shot to the jaw that he'd knock him out, but not if he had to wait until the second round to do it. I'm not in Mike Tyson's conditioning now, but at 59, I'm realistic enough to recognize that I wouldn't beat anyone in round 2, 3 or 4, even if I had trained for months.

the announcers acted like it was a big deal beating an old man,I didnt realize he was that old totally unfair

I don't think there are any stipulations about Paul's ear.

When you think about how much a win here (for Paul) will increase the value of the Jake Paul empire, it's hard to see that happening. He's manipulated his career to this point so far and I would expect that to continue. With the dollars at stake and the combatants involved, it's really hard for me not to be cynical about this event.
Value? So he beat up an old man what value is that Tyson or not

My two golden retrievers are fighting over a chew toy. One year old is like messenbrink with attack rate. Five year old is like starroci with perfect positioning and power.
Sorry for the off topic post follow up, but.....our 9 year old Golden passed away suddenly 3 weeks ago and my wife and I are still a mess. Our girl is irreplaceable but there is definitely a void in the home without a Golden in it. Just started searching for some reputable breeders and I figured if you have 2, you might know someone you recommend. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Again, sorry for the off topic post

sorry for your loss. I've had two great Labs in my lifetime (great bird dogs) but I switched to a Boykin Spaniel this time around (8 years ago) and am not sorry at all. Great bird dog (swamp poodle :) ), companion, and easy to pick her up if necessary!

I'm sure Paul is the exception, but have you been to a gym lately, let alone a public place?

Some, if not most twenty somethings are in shocking poorly condition. Spending ten minutes on the phone between sets is the beginning-it's like they don't understand that going to the gym isn't all that needs to be done.

Our deepest condolences as we just lost one unexpectedly 5weeks ago and can understand your grief. One of the hardest things to get through especially when they are so loyal and unconditional love oriented. We are with a single dog for the first time in 25 years. Looking for a scruffy terrier rescue in our case. I hope you find what you are looking for soon!

So sorry for the loss of your pet. What area of the US are you in? I'm in MN and know a reputable breeder who has goldens available right now and would be happy to give you their contact information.

Thanks to you and the other awesome people on here for the kind replies. I guess I should have mentioned that I am in the middle of PA. Literally just moments ago, I got an email from breeder I had contacted stating that someone had dropped off their list and she was going to have an extra puppy in a couple of months! Thanks again to you and the others on this board that messaged me names. Such a great community!

Sorry for your loss. Your age is needed for suggestions. A new pup? Can't go wrong with a good Burnese mix.

Yeah, sorry. We were looking for a Golden puppy. I think we have a pretty good lead on one now thanks to some suggestions on here. Thanks and I agree - my brother has a Burnese and he is also a great dog, but my family has become hooked on Goldens.

Sorry for the loss of your furry companion. Glad you found a place to replace her. Another option if in the mid-Atlantic is the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. Not puppies, but good dogs looking for their forever family.

The value to him was $40 million for barely breaking a sweat. I'll take some of that value and laugh all the way to the bank after paying for the hookers and blow.
ain't no way you burn 100k on hookers and blow before taking the dirt nap - that stuff is laced nowadays

I’ve read all 7 of Jack Carr’s novels. If you like an absurd amount of info on modern weapons systems, revenge scenarios, and heavy duty violence, …. Jack is the man. He’s a former “operator” and really knows his stuff. Start with the TERMINAL LIST.
There was an AMC series a while back called Rubicon. That was a good series in a similar genre from an intelligence analyst perspective.

Sorry for your loss. My suggestion is to go to AKC website and look for breeder's in your area. To get on their list they must be approved.

Yep. We visited that place at their last open house before going up for the Whiteout game. Amazing place and awesome people running it. After our visit, we decided that we will, at some point, adopt a dog from there along with getting a puppy. Just not sure which will come first. Thanks for the recommendation!
