Picking up a new one this week and am considering putting a wrap on it. Looking at XPEL or similar product.

Has anyone done this to their new car? Thoughts +-.

Thanks

Great product. If you’re going to do it make the decision quickly before you get rock chips. You get what you pay for tho so if you shop around don’t necessarily go with the lowest price. Are you going to wrap the whole car or just the front end?

Probably the whole car and plan to take it straight from pickup to the installer.

I had XPEL placed on my 540XI.

It can get expensive and the installer is the key since the pieces need to be precision cut and all bubbles need to be expertly pushed out.

To save a bit on costs I did the following:

1) Front spoiler
2) Hood (entire)
3) Right/Left Front Quarter Panels
4) Under the door handles
5) The gas tank cover (since we don't pump gas)
6) Top of Rear bumper (preventing scrapes from golf clubs etc)

The following took 2 days and (in NJ) cost $ 1900...
