Why Lehigh isn't getting them is a bigger question. Gaj lives less than 30 min away, and Seidel about an hour.
Pitt is 3.5 hrs from Seidel and nearly 5 hrs for Gaj. So to them it's just another school. Gavin is doing a good job, but has Pitt differentiated itself from VT?
Plus Pitt's recruiting strategy is very obviously (at least from their roster): focus heavily on western PA, supplement from elsewhere. It's not a bad strategy, but does make one wonder if they pursued Seidel and Gaj as hard as VT did.
Pitt has room for Seidel, but guessing Gaj wasn't a priority. They have Keslar, Evans, and MacKay all at his likely weights -- all with 4 yrs remaining (Evans and MacKay also being true FR).
Maybe because VT is a better school than Lehigh? Just spitballin' here.

Blacksburg might be a little milder than PA, but it's not exactly an "escape from winter."
But maybe that explains Manville?
Ironically, the two school are tied at #47 in the US News and World Report ranking of national universities.

As to missing the Brown post I had to look back. I was in between coming back from San Francisco then in a couple days in Massachusetts for a wedding.
I'll do better in the future.

And Gavin has as many national champs in his career as Robie and the more recent one of the two.
Legend! He is definitely one of the best to ever coach in PA. He did himself a favor and had ❤️man on his side.
