Pat Glory

Given all the speculation on other threads around 125, maybe time to revive this one. Kid's still not committed is he?
There is also Teske from Iowa who has not committed and could possibly wrestle 125 for 18/19 season.

He's quite good. He won Super 32 this year. Willie has him ranked #1 at 120.

At the same time, it doesn't do a lot of good to throw around the names of good wrestlers without looking at the broader picture.

Pat Glory
- junior in HS
- currently wrestles 120

Kids that PSU has verbals from

1. Adam Busiello
- currently ranked #9 at 120 by Willie
- is a soph, so one year behind Glory

2. Roman Bravo-Young
- currently ranked #2 at 132 by Willie
- is a junior, so is in the same class as Glory

Starters on PSU's roster

1. Nick Suriano
- is @ 125
- has 3 years of eligibility remaining

2. Jered Cortez
- is @ 133 (and out due to surgery he had in January)
- has 2 years of eligibility remaining

So where would you slot Pat into the lineup? If he could hold 126 for 4 years, and PSU decides that Suriano can't, then perhaps he'd be an option. If neither Glory nor Suriano can hold 126, then Pat would probably be blocked for at least 2 years, plus you also have to factor in Bravo-Young, and then Busiello (though there is some suspicion Busillo will be bigger by the time he gets to college).

Since you're new to the forum, I'd suggest that you check the eligibility/recruiting matrix that diceman99 has created. You can find it in the pinned posts at the top of this board.
Except suriano might not be back

I tend to forget about Glory due to blatant McHenry homerism, but I'd actually prefer him over Teske. Would be a good get.

I would go for McHenry. We know he is a 125 pounder 4 years but only a Jr. this year. Busiello will probably get bigger. Plus McHenry is elite good. Quickest wrestler i have ever seen in 30 years of following wrestling. Kid is going to be great..JMO

I just want to eventually write a post describing "Glory is in the hole" on mat so and so. I know it's juvenile, but ...
He doesn't necessarily have to be on our team for it to be fun, see Carton/ Pletcher as an example. You also could be hopeful he would be wrestling Real Woods.;)

I checked out the match , not overly impressed. Took one shot and converted for 4. Rest of the match he stuck out a leg and was content to crotch lock and funk. Good wrestler , just hate that style of wrestling.
