I got lots of stories about those……unfortunatelyStories about the one that got away.
Unsure at the moment.
This is one thing that continues to bother me about my circle of friends and family regarding hunting and fishing.
We've all caught and shot loads of game. Big ones and small ones...but the stories that get the most laughs and attention are the stories of the one that got away. Which I have a lot of.
I think I can make almost every shot and I think every bit of nice water has a big'un there. But my stories would suggest something else.
About a month ago I fished Texas state B.A.S.S. tournament. I missed the state team by 4 ounces. I lost a fish on both Friday and Saturday that would’ve secure that spot. And, had I had them both, it would’ve been real interesting to see who won. That fish on Saturday is still in my mind as I see it jumping out of the water and throwing that bait!
And I’m the same as you….I do miss, but not very often, specially with the .270. Me and that gun are like one! Definitely my favorite weapon. Don’t really pull the bow anymore. I should though!

I'm jealous if I could get a single fish to bite on my line I would shit myself I really would. Probably wouldn't know what to do. Not many stories there huh
If he was on trial by the government then yep that is (at least supposedly) the guideline. He isn't going to be put on trial for violating any government laws, so while your response sounds reasonable it has nothing to do with the appearance of Larry "NIL cash bags to go" Lee's post tournament interactions with other program's wrestlers.
I hear yeah but D4 in pa there is a great bass river (muskie and catfish too) and renowned trout fishing all over.
Who taught you? My Dad kinda taught me to hunt, couple other Dad’s taught me details. My best friends dad was nails with a bow, so we got hours of shooting practice with the bow before he ever took us out! The Army taught me to shoot a weapon the right way! And Grandma taught me how to fish!

Go find a good farm pond. Take a bunch of red worms or baby nightcrawlers. Usually tons of eager to bite panfish in them and some nice size bass.
Farm Pond = tHR
Worms = objective wrestling opinions
Panfish = too many to name

That reminds me, who was the clown on HR that took a liking to someone's grandma. Haven't seen him on there lately.
My dad taught me how to hunt and fish. My uncle, who is 1000X the sportsman my dad is, taught me a ton more. My uncle taught me bow hunting.
A friend taught me basics of fly fishing. A lot I picked up on my own or learned from talking to other fly fishermen.
Trout Unlimited taught me basics of fly tying. YouTube taught me a ton. And a local fly shop owner really honed my tying skills.
I got too many expensive hobbies.
Well it's now in the binder so...
The one Larry and some parents put together for Coach Brands when he admitted that he was behind and lost when it comes to recruiting... lol
BTW, I called it a binder but Brands first said it was actually a portfolio then later called it a folder. Whatever ya want to call it, it was basically Intel and a briefing from Larry Lee to Coach Brands on what's going on in college recruiting. Lol. Oh and I still to this day laugh that a Division 1 wrestling coach freely admitted he was getting help from an athletes parent on how to recruit better. That cracks me up! Only thing I found funnier was when Brands never even contacted a #1 pfp wrestler (A Brooks) when he was out recruiting. That one blew my mind. Now that I think of it,I may have been banned over on HR for calling that one out and asking why none of you fans were questioning that gem from Ol' Tommy boy..

This was the day Lar & Son took the reigns. I’m not sure how many inches the binder has grown since it debuted at 3”, but a gap appears to be widening again with just a year left on Lar’s contract. And the natives are going from restless to MIA.
That LumbeeIndian character was pretty spot-on. 🤔
But this is a good read if you want to catch up on some history. Weak, non-evidence-based accusations from posters like Don and WWDM are why tHR became such a target over the years. Ironically, WWDM shed so many tears over “PSU trolls” that he had to retreat to a safe space where, presumably, he can constantly hint at PSU improprieties without being called out for absence of actual evidence.

And Jeesh... lot of cash being handed out on the rez down there. Need to get this Scott fella to put some of that into a wrestling club down there. Lol. Then get with Cael to send a kid up our way and dish out some to the NIL fund. Lol
I've been to Pembroke for some DII regionals in the past,but nothing recently.
Well, she is one so if you go back far enough you may well be.
I'm planning on making a trip this summer to see my dad's side of family. Haven't been down there since he passed away years ago. Aunts and Uncles there keep asking me to visit think it's time I do.
