TAN TOM GETTING WORRIED IN ARUBA!We're doomed.
Is it really fair if we start hanging post-season championship banners AND pre-season, recruiting championship banners? We're going to need to rent space at the BJC to hang them all. At least there's no basketball ones taking up space!TAN TOM GETTING WORRIED IN ARUBA!
Hey buddy, still have the same email?Awe shoot. My apologies. I'm whopped tonight and didn't notice.
I took this as a joke about his name at firstNever liked him anyway. Too many L’s for my comfort.
What's number 3 waiting for? lol1, 2, 4, 8, 12, and 19, you say? This has to be approaching the best recruiting class ever regardless of year, no?
Another tremendous recruit. All I can say is that we are so fortunate to have a wrestling program at PS , led my Cael Sanderson and his truly outstanding coaches Cody, Casey and Jimmy. We are in the midst of wrestling dynasty.. As a fan we are spoiled by such excellence year after year. We should be grateful that this program attracts such talented and fine young men. The culture and the consistency of excellence, that Cael and his team have created is very special. We continue to get top recruit after top recruit so consistently over the past decade is truly special. You wonder if it will slow down or end, but it doesn't. The incredible 2024 class is just another endorsement of what is happening at PS. We are blessed and fortunate to watch something this special. Gratefulness is the word we all should feel as a PS wrestling fan.
ED NOTE: Lilledahl is ranked No. 2 in the country @ 120 by Willie and No. 5 in the P4P.
He’s also ranked No. 2 on 2024 Big Board, behind fellow PSU commit Joe Sealey, though that will be updated in the coming weeks per Willie.
Penn State currently has commits from Nos. 1, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 19 on the 2024 Big Board.
Is it me or does it feel, just a little, like Cael and Co. are slipping? Don't get me wrong, numbers 1, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 19 sounds pretty good, but that's only 6 scoring wrestlers. Hard to win a natty with only 6 scoring wrestlers. Color me concerned...
Who is 3 for 2024?What's number 3 waiting for? lol
Cody Merrill, no fit, tremendous wrestler but Cael liked Mirasola's ceiling/style more.Who is 3 for 2024?
Certainly not as many L’s as Spencer took at Iowa.Never liked him anyway. Too many L’s for my comfort.
Yeah same. Hope you have been doing well!Hey buddy, still have the same email?

Yep, doing well, sent you an email but wasn’t sure if it was correct.Yeah same. Hope you have been doing well!
I have thought about the national champion pictures for individual wrestlers in the room. They are pretty large. When we run out of room on the wall(s), I think it's time for a new facilityIs it really fair if we start hanging post-season championship banners AND pre-season, recruiting championship banners? Wooohooo 🥳, this is like getting a second Easter basket on the day after Easter!Luke Lilledahl commits to Penn State

2023-2023 RIPI really enjoyed the “Cael is losing his touch in recruiting” era
It's scary. Kind of like he has some sort of plan or something.I really enjoyed the “Cael is losing his touch in recruiting” era
Was that a thing? LOLI really enjoyed the “Cael is losing his touch in recruiting” era
Alternating years with #1 recruiting classes isn't actually to stagger the generations coming through the program, it's actually to give the other teams' fans hope for a year and then suck the life out of them yet again. LOL.It's scary. Kind of like he has some sort of plan or something.
St. Charles, Missouri and High Point, North Carolina, respectively.Where're Lilledahl's and Sealey's hometowns?
That's cool. I can't think of many PSU wrestlers from either of those states.St. Charles, Missouri and High Point, North Carolina, respectively.
I live fairly near High Point, NC and I must say -- it's remarkable to have one of the best young wrestlers in the country emerge from High Point. There is not a great tradition of wrestling in North Carolina, though NC State's recent success seems to be of interest.St. Charles, Missouri and High Point, North Carolina, respectively.

I lived in Kernersville and worked for the City of High Point. You are right. Wrestling isn't a popular sport in that area.I live fairly near High Point, NC and I must say -- it's remarkable to have one of the best young wrestlers in the country emerge from High Point. Just goes to show that wrestling talent can come from many places -- and evidently, the Sealey family realized that it made sense to get Joe Sealey into Wyoming Sem for further development.
I'll follow his PSU career with great interest. Maybe Cael can even schedule a road match vs NC State or UNC?
Merrill seems way overranked at first glance. Don't even think he won Cali states this year.Cody Merrill, no fit, tremendous wrestler but Cael liked Mirasola's ceiling/style more.
Merrill was hurt and didn’t wrestle in high school this season. He won California state title the previous year thoughMerrill seems way overranked at first glance. Don't even think he won Cali states this year.
I don't love this class. I'd probably put Ferrari as my number 1 guy based on talent and results, but the off the mat family circus complicates the evaluation. Davino would be my 2 followed by Sealey.
I can't decide what I think of Lilledahl. Was very underwhelmed by him early. Then he had a MONSTER season and I thought he maybe made a jump, but was pretty underwhelming again at elite 8. The guy he reminds me of a little is Tony Ramos with the way he darts around on reattacks.
Need to dive deeper on Ryder eventually.
Dont you make that every night though?I want everyone to know that I made carbonara Sunday night...with guanciale. Monday Lillehammer commits. Coincidence? I think not.
Dont you make that every night though?
Does he have a brother? I could have sworn I watched a Merrill lose in the finals this year.Merrill was hurt and didn’t wrestle in high school this season. He won California state title the previous year though
