Nobody who had any idea of what they were talking about. Pepe finished 3rd at states last year and was ranked top 3 at 113 all year.
A few people (myself included) picked him to lose to Bradley in the Super Regionals final -- because Bradley beat him at NE Regionals.
Maybe a little ... but so what. With the swipes, he's down 4-0 with under 50 sec left.
Focus on the pin diminishes Ungar's win.

That was not a 2 count. Maybe a 1.5 count.
It's really easy to tell from the clip -- the ref starts to get into position at 0:06, Gibson went flat as the clock switched from 0:07 to 0:08, and Ungar released the hold as the clock switched from 0:08 to 0:09.

what a way to go out for Avery Bassett....shot straight in and pancaked over to get pinned in the state finals....wild
The pin also puts Burrell in 2nd by 5 pts.
Montoursville has 2 finalists (189 and 215), needs either both to win or 1 to win with bonus. 215 seems unlikely against Pitzer.
Buck is a good coach and a good guy. Happy for him and that Frazier program. Great clinician if you got kids, get them to a Watkins mindset camp.
