But both shoulders were clearly down. But obviously not nearly as long as Dean Heil's were against Gulibon. That was a quick pin call..

Ungar is a NJ transfer, Gibson is a PA kid who has done nothing other than capture our attention for all the right reasons. You should never get pinned in a tilt.
He was flat but man o man many many others have been given more latitude.....then in the state finals
Too bad covid robbed ungar of the crowd roar.....that place would have bonkers
“Coming up short” is certainly a nice way to put it
Meh. Over the years the Hershey crowd has shown its appreciation for such transfers whether or not they actually moved into PA. Especially when they win a strong bracket.Ungar is a NJ transfer, Gibson is a PA kid who has done nothing other than capture our attention for all the right reasons.
Well, yes. Housenick is very good but ultimately the Lehigh Valley reporter, so his headline is gonna have the local slant.“Coming up short” is certainly a nice way to put it

Possibly the strongest bracket. Hats off to Unger, he wrestled a perfect match. Looked like Gibson was pressing early and may have just had too much artificial pressure weighing on him. Just want to throw my support to him, nothing more.Meh. Over the years the Hershey crowd has shown its appreciation for such transfers whether or not they actually moved into PA. In the article it says Steen turned down a guaranteed scholarship at sPitt for a chance to earn one at PSU.....Behind the paywall -- but as always, you can read it anyway by opening within Twitter on your phone (not open a new browser).

Higley will wrestle at George Mason next year. Haines is uncommitted in the Class of 2022. (If we don't land Bouzakis, a Bartlett-Van Ness-Haines stretch would be awfully good.)
Yeah, 106 Williams (Kaedyn) wins, and 113 Williams (Kamdyn) shows forfeitWilliams forfeit?
According to Tom’s Wrestling page he missed weight!Yeah, 106 Williams (Kaedyn) wins, and 113 Williams (Kamdyn) shows forfeit

Thanks.According to Tom’s Wrestling page he missed weight!
Everybody knew this would happen when the mask rule was announced.Just witnessed one of the worst stall fests I've ever seen in the Kilkeary semi. Can't believe the official let Jacaruso get away with that. One of the most blatant lung timeouts I've ever seen. Backed out of bounds 10 times. Coaches buying him time arguing a stall call. Took off his headgear to adjust his mask underneath. Wild. If there was a real crowd, that official would have gotten tarred and feathered.
Watched Kilkeary’s opponent back pedal, fake injury, have his coaches argue with the ref to get the kid a lunger.....all in the third period, and only one stall call.

The usual Hershey officiating routine is to allow the most blatant stalling, and then give a token call with 5 sec left when there's no chance of it having any effect.Haven't watched a ton of high school wrestling the past year or so. I forgot how bad these officials are. Guy just let Chappell hand onto a leg for the last 45 seconds of the match. They have no situational awareness. Almost makes me appreciate Angel Rivera.
