My wife is in as "Mrs. Gambit" while I am off chasing dreams. I told her I wasn't going to join Pick'Em this season because of time issues, and she said "Do you mind if I play?" and I said "But you don't know very much about college football" and she said "Neither do you". It was difficult to argue with that logic.
Anyway, this is totally on the up and up. I told her I will not help her in any way. All picks are strictly her own. She may pick a team because she likes the sound of their name, or the look of their uniform, or because her 2nd cousin twice removed is an alum. I really have no idea how seriously she will take this. It is possible I may find her on the computer at 2AM looking an injury reports, or quarterback ratings, but I doubt it.
One final thing. She has no intention of posting so don't try calling her out. She said she will make the picks and move on. That may change if, by some quirk of fate, she wins a week, but that is not likely to happen. Anyway, it should be fun.
