Narduzzi seems to be stuck on Jurkovich. Is it that he thinks he is his best option, or he does not want to plug in a PSU transfer in Veilleux? Just think if Veilleux comes in and wins for them. He will always be known as a PSU transfer. It might make Narduzzi's jealous head explode.

Yeah, I thought so. I love that he’s a loyal advocate for Pitt but sometimes he takes it too far. There’s times when he’d do himself a lot of good by keeping his mouth shut. It’s harder for him to get away with calling out other teams and coaches when our own team isn’t good.
I wanted him to succeed, and I appreciate the stability and success he brought to the program, but his stubbornness will be what ultimately does him in.
I think Narduzzi’s obsession and hatred of Penn State is preventing him from playing Christian Veilleux. There’s no other explanation. Christian played one game against Rutgers and finished 15 of 24 for 235 yards with 3 TD’s without a turnover in his first collegiate appearance.

This is what I think. If I am Veilleux I don't want to play for a coach like that, who doesn't play me at the team's cost because he is worried about embarrassment. 'Duzzi seems like that kind of guy.
What to do if this goes on this season? I think Veilleux should head back to the portal. There's no guarantee this doesn't continue right into next year. I wouldn't believe 'Duzzi if he tells me otherwise during the offseason. Actions speak louder than words.
Veilleux made a big mistake in going to Pitt. Narduzzi is a duechebag. The program is pitiful. Poor fan support. Not a great place to play. He would have far better off at WVU or even Maryland. Indiana. Wake Forest or NC State.

Duzz will bring in another transfer QB next year, count on it. He plays Jurk because he promised him he would play and breaking his promise may hurt his chances at bringing in other transfers.
Christian made a bad decision, but he’s stuck there unless he’s accumulated enough credits to transfer again as a graduate. Every other QB on their roster should hit the portal asap. Because DUZZ in his infinite wisdom thinks he’s a master at pulling qb’s out of the portal. He’s just going to do it again and F all his present backups. However, Duzzy is a great source of humor for the rest of us.
Duzzies offense is so sophisticated, intricate and perplexing that only the d coordinators of his opponents are able to understand it.
If you had to wake up to realize it you missed the top entertainment you could have enjoyed by staying up until the singing of Country Roads by the WVU team and fans as Duzzy and his crew left with their tails between their worn out legs........
If he ends up back at the consistent 6-6 records he put up early in his Pitt tenure (or worse) the Pitt alums might just throw him and his sophisticated NFL offense right out of Oakland. Duzzy just doesn't seem to have the personality and communication skills to be a successful P5 head coach and before he has an aneurysm addressing why he continues to play a QB that can't throw a football within 10 yards of his intended target he may realize that he'd be better off health wise going back to being a DC at which he was successful and didn't expose himself as a buffoon in front of national audiences.........
How can you say we're awful? The defense is playing terrific regardless of their QB. It's certainly much better than was thought. The DB's picked off 3 and their guys were not wide open all night. And with Greene in there, it would have been a bloodbath.
Greene turns the ball over if he plays? You don't know what you're talking about. Greene has played very well so far and is a better and faster runner than Marchiol. Plus, the playbook would have been opened with Greene.

Jurkovich looked bad but it wasn all on him. On one pass there were three Pitt receivers all in the same spot along with three dbacks that were covering them. No offense is supposed to have three receivers in the same spot.

One guy on the Liar pointed out that Jurkovich was the leading passer for both teams. His interceptions were returned for 66 yds which was more than the 62 yds the WVU QB had!😹

WVU looks improved over last year. If the kids stay focused and don’t get down after a loss or two they will be a decent team. And don’t over celebrate the Pitt victory and get focused on TT.
I went to the NYY Pirate game yesterday afternoon. I ended up spending some time at Rally House looking at Merch. I didn't buy anything but was impressed by the store. Almost all of their stuff was:

Also, I have to give props to the Pittsburgh sports talk shows. When I drove down and at home, there was lots of talk about how to account for the B gap since the Steelers had an injury. I've never heard such an in-depth discussion about football on a talk show before. Go away from the base 3-4 and play more 4-3 but perhaps bring in two OLBs to play more of a hybrid LB/S D that flowed to the ball. Lots of talk on players, their skill sets, using the IR list, using the extended roster, who is available. I was refreshing as the typical NFL (and CLE) talk shows more resemble the male/sports version of "The Real Housewives of XXX"
