CCR is crucial these days. I finally found my keeper copy of Bayou Country this weekend.
Is that a vintage pressing? The DCC and Analogue Productions CCR LPs are popular among audiophiles. So are the DCC gold CDs and Analogue Productions SACDs.
I'm talking vintage. The DCC stuff is before my time but the AP Lps are good, I have some from when Newbury comics put them out on colored vinyl. The SACDs are amazing and probably what I would listen to if I didn't have this nasty vintage fetish. Good for chilling in the pool so I don't have to get out to flip sides.
There should be a rule that Pitt fans aren't allowed to listen to CCR.

A Pitt team that’s only strength was the OL and RBs lost to PSU 51-6 last year at home.
But Pitt has a keychain.Penn State has outscored pitt in the three games of the current series, 123-62. It’s 84-20 the last two games. Pretty balanced series.

Sure, and I think we have a much better chance to win than last year. But you don't usually hear that a team's big strength is that they're returning less than half their starters. It is a stupid argument to say that losing 4/5 of the starting offensive line, 70% of our offensive production, and 4 out of 5 All-ACC honorees is this great thing that should make us better.

I've come to realize that nearly every poster on the lair is just a troll. How else can you explain how absolutely batshit crazy most of them are?They are all a bunch of posters from other boards who are having fun at Pitt's expense. They just keep trying to out-crazy and one-up each other. It's the perfect school to do it to. They literally have the worst athletic department of all P5 teams. Whenever they get on a big stage, they fail spectacularly. They have no real fans to stand in the way, and no real history to learn. Sure it's hilarious, but I really feel bad for the student athletes at Pitt who are the butt of their jokes.

I don’t believe that. Well actually I don’t want to believe that. It’s much more enjoyable for me to believe that the denizens of the Lair are actual Pitt fans and graduates. If all or the majority of them are trolls then one of the minor joys of my life has been destroyed.

You can't throw around statements like " worst athletic department of all P5 teams" without some backup. It's not like they finished 131st in the Learfield Director Cup standings this year, 1 spot below Vermont and 50 spots below the Scarlet Knights. Or it's not like they've never won an NCAA recognized national championship in any sport. Or it's not like they call themselves a basketball school and haven't been to the Final Four since 1941 where they lost to Wisconsin. Any of those things would look really bad.

Sounds like they'll be markedly improved this year. Maybe they'll let Kenny Heisman throw a pass between the hashmarks, and who knows, maybe even a couple passes over 8 yards.
