Great picture, is that the play where he threw the inception that was returned for a touchdown in the 48 to 14 game?

Yes, I remember that play well. The heart of a Lion (Mark Robinson) , breezing past the beaten down, hapless panther (Marino) !!!

I was reading a state of the union on pitt 2020 recruiting that included a lot of "analysis" about QB recruiting and the impact that all the grad transfers have on QB recruiting, mainly that there are likely going to be 30 QB's available as GT's each year and that those QB's will now be looked at as a part of the QB recruiting pool, and that coaches will look at the GT's as part of the QB pool. The author delved into this subject because pitt does not have a QB in their 16 player 2020 class.

But what that analysis failed to recognize is that with all the QB's transferring out of the top programs, most having lost the competition there to be the starting QB, those top programs will have to recruit more QB's each year in order to maintain their coaches QB roster number goal. And that will leave fewer, or possibly none, of the even reasonably talented high school QB's (i.e. talented enough to start at a P5 team) for bottom feeder teams like pitt to recruit. It is my guess that if the transfer portal continues in its present form, teams like pitt will have a pretty large percentage of their QB roster made up of GT's......

Obviously the fact that I would waste time commenting on pitt's recruiting indicates that we need more PSU football news to discuss.....:(

And one more thing. How can there be so many posts (82) within a thread titled "Kenny Pickett’s Development" when the kid has started for over a year and the sum total passing yards for his last 3 games is 274 yards. No, not 274 yards for the last game. But 274 yards TOTAL for his last 3 games. An average of 91.3333333 yards per game!!!!!

What "development" could there have been to discuss???????

Before my time. Love the old mustard/blue color scheme though. A man crush? Eh. Sort of.

He reminds me a lot of past PSU QBs. 0 National Championships like Anthony Morelli and 0 Super Bowl rings like a Christian Hackenberg.
