But seriously, Pitt had a nice little run yesterday but c’mon, their class is 3* galore. They’ll end up with the same ranking Narduzzi always pulls - 35-50ish. Their current roster going into next season is terrible. They’ll lose 6-7 games and a handful of those kids from the south will hop onto the backend of a higher program’s class.
This pissing match with Pitt has gotten annoying at this point. We have lapped them twice as a program. 64 is the point spread over the past two games. When will their fans just shut up? I honestly thought they were humiliated enough last year to just keep quiet.
One would think, but I guess we’re going to have to rely on the beatdown they’re getting in the series finale to do the trick. It should be interesting watching them try to deal with our speed on defense; I’d be shocked if they get ten points.
Agreed. And as should have been obvious last year, Franklin will not take his foot off the gas. Narduzzi has made his bed and Franklin will make him lie in it one more time.
They play Virginia to open the season, so Narduzzi can’t sandbag his offseason offense for PSU like he has done in the past. Their offensive line, “7 yards passing” Kenny Heisman, our defensive line + crowd noise should make passing downs a complete shitshow for them.
Who cares what the record was? It was a 1/2 decade ago, and Donald has turned into the most dominant defensive player since LT.
What in the world does Donald have to do with the direction of Pitt football? He didn't even play for Pitt's current coaching staff. Donald is just the latest example of what Pitt has become...a program that can produce some very talented individual players from time to time but whose teams consistently hover around .500. If you're ok with your biggest cheers being for what former Pitt players are doing in the NFL, then good on you. This is a college football board
I fully expect us to thrash Pitt in the fall, but I have to tell you, if Pitt can even for 5 minutes be ranked higher than us in recruiting, then anything else is possible.
Just a hunch, but I can imagine Pitt’s Coach Tim Salem having another key chain made with recruit rankings as of June 23! Still can’t believe that loser of a coach had those keychains made after Pitt’s victory in 2016.
Guys, maybe we should beat pitt before we make fun of them.
Beating Pitt is NOT a prerequisite for making fun of Pitt. Making fun of Pitt would be fun if we were oh-fer...however we're not oh-fer. 
I wonder how many of them have seen anything remotely close to the crowd they are going to see in Happy Valley. The attendance will be more than Pitt's for the season. To get to the level of a shit show for their offense might be an improvement.
Pitt is the Al Bundy of college football.
Without the quality jokes. pitt's comedy is funny in a different way.

PSU has not one, but two DL with more career college sacks than Donald, so he wouldn't even be the best DL PSU had ever had and certainly not the best player ever (Saquon, Kijana, Collins, Johnson, Poz, Connor, Lee, Hali, Ham etc).
If you want to make Pitt fans mad, predict they will only win 6 games with a team that returns 1 of 5 O-Lineman, w/o top two RB’s, no TE, and a qb that throws for 10 yds a game

Before I begin this rant I’ll admit that we don’t play the most brutal OOC schedule. Nobody really does anymore, and I understand the reasoning. However once again the idiots on the Lair continue to show their stupidity.
In virtually every endeavor in life one must take on and surpass those entities above you if you want to move up the ladder, to gain respect and notoriety. The boys of Fall at the Lair are constantly screaming for a tomato can OOC ( in reality other than us how much easier can it be ). That combined with the mythical meat grinder Coastal slate is in their collective wisdom the road to prominence. Only continued failure ever springs from wallowing in self pity and stewing in the bile of your hatred for others more successful than you. Honestly, the mind is a terrible thing to waste!

So how is the Pitt superior ranking to PSU (in recruiting) going President Stache? I can't help but wonder how far Pitt will fall in the final rating? Dare I say below 40?

Well they did lose their last three games. Hard not to be optimistic.
Notice Pitt was 5-2 at the time and only trailing the #25 Hokies by two when this happened. The start of the downfall right here in the video.
