Pitt fans say the darndest things

With his transfer, that makes 3 (including this year) straight classes without a 4 star recruit...sad.

Yet Pitt fans think this is Narduzzi’s most talented team. How little do they know what Paul Christ did for them. Narduzzi is slowly running them into the ground

Wait until Pitt's top 2020 recruit RB Henry Parrish of Miami bails on them. He opened up this season with 300+ yards and is poised for a huge season. He will certainly be a plan B RB for numerous FL and other Southern schools.

University of South Carolina is recruiting him hard and he does have an official visit lined up. He is also saying things that would make me nervous if I was a Pitt fan.

It looks like Ohio State is starting to chase after him as well.

Yep. Factor in all the recruiting advantages Pitt has over Penn State and that makes it so much worse.

1. Pitt is a better school (the Harvard of the Midwest)
2. Share a practice facility with the Steelers
3. Big city with THINGS TO DO
4. Better coach who cares about his players more
5. 97 National Championships and counting
6. BLUE COLLAR team with no primadonnas
7. Opportunity to play on the same offense as Kenny Heisman

I'm sure I'm forgetting more.

When you’re right, you’re right.

We’re screwed. :(

Pitt is NOT in the Midwest.

Never has been. Geography much? Middle-Atlantic state = Pennsylvania

The state of Ohio starts the Midwest sir.

They think every year that team is their most talented.

Proves there is a ton of uneducated souls out there!

Geography needs to be stressed more in middle schools and correctly at that sir.

You know that.
Politically, Pittsburgh is middle Atlantic. Geographically, the midwest is the land between the Rockies and Alleghenies. Do, bith are right... or wrong. ;)

And the earth was flat at one time sir!

In attitude, I do think Pittsburgh is the first MidWestern city. I realized that after living in Philly for med school then Baltimore during fellowship (and I enjoyed both cities). Visited Cleveland Clinic for interview and everyone there was nice. Then to Pittsburgh, same vibe.

It is not that I can assure you.

I was born there and lived there; nobody I ever came across or in the public domain thought that Pittsburgh was in the Midwest.

Nobody.

We identified ourselves as "western-Pennsylvanians" and Pennsylvania is a Middle-Atlantic state.

Case closed.

I’ll take your word for it, just noting much more pleasant than “East Coast” cities. One gentleman - lived his whole life in Baltimore up until the last 10-15 yrs of 70 or so - told me: “You’d love it here, just like Baltimore without the apartheid!”

Not as entertaining as the two threads that are on there now guaranteeing that Pitt will beat Penn State.

We tuned in to the Pitt game (SiriusXM) on the way back to Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Observations:
Bill Hillgrove needs retired immediately. He makes glaring mistakes on every series and has to be corrected by Pat Bostick or the producer in his ear.
He is simply awful and makes the broadcast unlistenable.
I feel for Bostick, who not only has to concentrate on doing his job well, but has to pick up Hillgrove constantly.
If he was to listen back to his performance I’m sure he’d reach to same conclusion. Time to hang up the headphones.

He is still way better that past color-man Johnny Sower!

They should just leave the guy alone, whatever nonsense he’s describing is better than the actual game if truth be told.
