Yep. Factor in all the recruiting advantages Pitt has over Penn State and that makes it so much worse.
1. Pitt is a better school (the Harvard of the Midwest)
2. Share a practice facility with the Steelers
3. Big city with THINGS TO DO
4. Better coach who cares about his players more
5. 97 National Championships and counting
6. BLUE COLLAR team with no primadonnas
7. Opportunity to play on the same offense as Kenny Heisman

In attitude, I do think Pittsburgh is the first MidWestern city. I realized that after living in Philly for med school then Baltimore during fellowship (and I enjoyed both cities). Visited Cleveland Clinic for interview and everyone there was nice. Then to Pittsburgh, same vibe.
Pickett is now 1 of 6 for 3 yards. Pitt does not have a rushing attempt to this point. They are losing 10-0.
The Golden Shower Panthers are always good for a laugh.

I was born there and lived there; nobody I ever came across or in the public domain thought that Pittsburgh was in the Midwest.

We identified ourselves as "western-Pennsylvanians" and Pennsylvania is a Middle-Atlantic state.

The winner of the Pitt game is clearly obvious. All that remains is for the degree of ugliness to be determined.
I’ll take your word for it, just noting much more pleasant than “East Coast” cities. One gentleman - lived his whole life in Baltimore up until the last 10-15 yrs of 70 or so - told me: “You’d love it here, just like Baltimore without the apartheid!”

Not as entertaining as the two threads that are on there now guaranteeing that Pitt will beat Penn State.
