:D:eek:

Watched the whole event. Really good wrestling in both sides. Probably wishful thinking on my part, but I thought Glory was pinned on one of those scrambles.

To be serious for a moment. RBY missing the tourney begs the question - is this an injury that could linger into the season?

I don't know who is harder to get injury information from: Cael or Franklin?o_O

Who knows? I checked around message boards about Yianni and people are saying he's coming back in 4 months after an ACL operation, so whatever is wrong with Roman, I'm optimistic! LOL.

If Teasdale can maintain 126lb. I am not sure he can and redshirts to go 133 next year. RBY goes 133 this year then redshirts to go 141. But it Teasdale does go 126lb, could he keep it to a regular decision versus he food friend Spencer lee. I would love to see that bout

I have it on good authority that RBY has suffered a career ending injury that will mysteriously affect other incoming recruits, throw Cael's whole program into disarray, and set PSU back for 50 seasons. Discuss.

Love,
GhostK

It would have been much more interesting to watch Spencer and Suriano wrestle in the finals if Suriano had stayed and received instruction and development on offensive wrestling.
I had the chance to see Suriano last year in Minnesota and I was impressed with the aggressiveness and number of shots that he took. I wonder how many offensive shots he took last year as compared to this season?

Teasdale looked good and RBY no show has proved to be very impressive for this thread

Because people (outside this thread) had...and I think it’s complete BS. I think Gavin will be fine.
If you think it's BS, why bring it up again in a thread that had been silent on the matter? And in a "call you out" manner? I don't get it, but whatever.

Teasdale needs to bulk up quite a bit to jump right in and compete at 125. I was just picturing him up against Tomasello /Suriano/ Lee type sized 125’s and he looks quite a ways off. Will he redshirt next season? He’s cat quick, looks to be a real good one for ya guys once he’s done growing and gets into a college weight training program. Got to Glory’s legs pretty easily.

I think he is just fine. I wasn't picturing him against Tomasello, or Suriano, because both Tomasello and Suriano won't be wrestling next year at 125 in college. In fact, I was picturing him wrestling Mead or Heinselmann, and he appears to be just fine going up against either of them. In fact, he'll be a bit bigger than Heinselmann if I'm not mistaken. I believe Teasdale will be an All American next season and I'm betting he believes that also.

I will be the first one to tell you I don’t think Heinselman will be anywhere near ready physically next year. If he doesn’t redshirt I’d be shocked, he’s nowhere near ready physically to compete with the bigger 125’s. And I used those guys as an example because they are fresh on our minds. Next season there will be other full sized 125’s and he just seemed like he’s be dwarfed size wise if he he’s the starting 125 come fall. A lot can happen between now and then, he’s a fantastic wrestler, he like Heinselman looks like at first glance perfect candidates to redshirt and get a full season of weight training under their belts. That’s all I meant. I’m terrified of what’s going to happen for the Bucks at 125. If they throw Heinselman out there as a true freshman I think it could be disaster both for the weight results and he wrestler. Still holding out hope a decent stop gap transfer makes it i the lineup.

In fairness, 95% of collegiate 125s look weak and ill-prepared relative to Suriano or Tomasello, both of whom are animals. I'm not too worried about Teasdale. Did Yianni look physically unprepared for 141? From a purely physical standpoint, he looks woefully skinny and "weak" to me, but he sure didn't look bad winning a national title on a bum knee. We'll probably all find out in November or December what the plan is at 125 for PSU, but I feel a good bit better about it now than I have at any time since Suriano bolted.

Way early guess on your part is Mead at 125 for the Buckeyes?
