If it is between that list and some guy from Colgate, then yes, I want anyone on that group instead. Now, if you think we could pull a Shaka Smart type coach from another school, then I am all game.

That "some guy from Colgate" is likely going to end up with a much better job sooner than later. I'm certainly buying Langel stock if it's available. What has Nick Colella or Talor Battle done to make them better candidates than an up-and-comer that's been to four straight NCAA tournaments?

Whoever said Shaka Smart, that's exactly the longshot Rich Strike (last year's Derby) million to one bomb PSU would be looking for with somebody like Battle. Another poster mentioned Danny and the Crispins and so forth. Might as well throw Nate Althouse and Krimmel in there. This is what we do. It's not my opinion, it's verifiable fact.

So PSU Hoops is pretty much back where it was two years ago - having to assemble a team from scratch with a new coach - except at least we now know it's possible to do so with the right coach and players transferring in.
