I'm setting this up in advance. I think I'll be able to do PBP (90% sure).

The dual takes place at 7 pm EST.

TV/Video:
- there is no TV coverage
- video will be streamed for those that have a BTN+ subscription
- video will be streamed for those that have a FloWrestling FloPro subscription, and can be accessed

Audio:
- Byers's radio PBP will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion starts at 6:40 pm EST, and can be accessed at:

No one chatting? Got JB, no 125 match due to illness of Devon and backup and Carson not certified yet

Purdue starting up 6-0!

PSU will forfeit at 125. Schnupp and Lopez are sick, and Kuhn is not yet certified.

Purdue already tweeted that Penn State is going with one of the vaunted Forfeit brothers at 125...

Edit to add: Jeez, I wasn't even FIRST RUNNER-UP to tweet that. Regardless, I'll leave it up, just for the heck of it...

Wonder if they will be better on Sunday or another forfeit. Flu can really knock you out, if it is the flu

I give you credit for using a source I wasn't following. Pat has not yet tweeted the info @ 125 for PSU

Lineups:

125: PSU forfeit vs. #12 Luke Welch
133: Corey Keener vs. Ben Thornton
141: #7 Nick Lee vs. Nate Limmex
149: #1 ZPain vs. Austin Nash
157: #1 Jason Nolf vs. Cole Wysocki
165: #1 Vincenzo Joseph vs. Jaco Morrissey
174: #2 Mark Hall vs. #12 Dylan Lydy
184: #1 Bo Nickal vs. Max Lyon
197: #10 Shakur Rasheed vs. Kobe Woods
285: #8 Nick Nevills vs. #15 Shawn Streck

PSU did weigh in Anthony Cassar as well at 197, so it's possible that he could go.

And apparently Ironhead did not get the word as once again he used the phrase "Funtastic Five."

meanwhile, BTN is showing MSU vs. Indiana wrestling on TV.

for those that are interested, it's 9-9 at intermission.

No Christian Brunner for the Boilermakers, apparently? He would've been an interesting matchup for Shakhony Casheed.

How Is Kuhn not certified yet?
With the weight descent plan, he essentially has to make 125 to certify along with having the proper hydration ratio. That is tough. He does not have a month to descend.

133: Corey Keener vs. Ben Thornton

Per 1
Not a lot thru 1. Thornton with a shot, blocked. Stalemate. Thornton in on a single, Keener kicks the leg out, nothing. Keener in on the left leg a bit, but nothing. Stalemate with 49 sec left. Nearly a TD by Keener as he got behind Thornton, but nothing. End

Per 2
Thornton takes bottom. Thornton to his feet, and Keener releases him for the esc, 0-1. Thornton in on a single, Keener with a split and a whizzer, and eventually a stalemate with 54 sec left. Nice fight by Keener. Keener reaches for a leg, nothing. Thornton in on a single, Keener with a whizzer, now reaches over the shoulders, and the buzzer sounds. End

Per 3
Keener takes bottom. Caution on Thornton. Keener rolls out for the esc, 1-1. Keener gets in and goes behind for the TD, 3-1. He cuts him, 3-2. Keener drives in, nothing. Keener drives in again, and they go OOB, and a stall warning on Thornton. Thornton tries a shot, nothing. 30 sec left. Thornton shoots, Keener tries to counter, and the buzzer sounds. End

3-2 win for Keener

3-6, Purdue

He has to have started the certifying process but I assume the calendar won't let him be down to #125 yet. One is only allowed to lose 1.5% per week.
I am not an expert but I believe there is a difference between being certified and under the weight descent plan. As i understand he is not yet certified, supposedly it shows on track, or somewhere, when certified.
