PSU/Texas AM is a 9:55pm tipoff on TBS

most are in 30's and 40's with kids. matter of fact those with young kids say they are in bed by 9 some nights. Bed at 10 and uo by 5 in the normal
With the invention of DVR, sports is really the only reason one needs to stay up late for tv these days.

Up at 5 is not "normal"--especially today with so many people working remote
Most couples with young kids stay up after the kids go to bed for some time together
Hell, most kids aren't even asleep by 9.

I asked this question at work and only 3 people out of 42 said they go to bed after 10. I had my wife ask her work people, a little higher, 6 out of 33. All of us are at work by 7 15 so that may be part of it but even those I dont work with rarely are up after 10.
How far is your commute?
I don't believe this at all. I'll ask my office tomorrow. I'm guessing not a single person goes to bed before 11. In fact, we're usually texting each other past 11. For example, we all talked about watching Miss State/Pitt tonight at that won't be over after 11--not one person was like "I have to stay up late to watch".

That's why most people stay up late. You either finally get alone time or spend time with the wife.
It seems like you have your finger on the pulse of … pretty much everyone. So I guess you win. It is settled. Almost EVERYONE in this country stays up until around midnight and hardly no one is in bed by 9 or 10 pm. Never mind what people here have to say about themselves and their coworkers, you know better. Heard!

Most of the people that responded said they don't
I also didn't say everyone. I don't believe the fictional poll for the record.

Weird. I've got an 18 month old and never in bed before 10 and rarely up before 6. Only time I'm up before 6 is if I'm getting an early workout in, and even then its like 5:15... Not aware of any of my friends with similar aged kids regularly asleep or up that early. Yours must have shitty commutes.

Google is your friend....

Americans spend an average of 7 hours and 18 minutes in bed each night. They go to bed at 11:39 p.m., wake up at 7:09 a.m.

Pretending going to bed before around 10am and up before 6 simply isn't in touch with reality. Nothing wrong with doing so (might even be what people "should" do) but that's not what "the average" person does.

What time do most people wake up?

PSU hasn’t been to the big dance since 2011. I don’t care what time it’s on. I’ll be rooting for the Nittany Lions.

Those of us who are teaching in classrooms arrive by 7;20 and are expected to be actively teaching at 7:40. I'm genetally in bed by 930 up at 6.

When I worked in Manhattan and commuted I was up at 5. Living in the city was easier...to bed by 1 and up at 7...desk at 8. That was a gr8 2.5 years!

I miss the days of being able to close my office door and snooze. Or head out for "lunch" during March Madness, go to a bar, and pull a J8mmy Buffett and just not return. Not possible now. Can always play a movie....which just may be on tap tomorrow : )

Go State!

Again, the absolute worst slot for time and day played. Friday between noon and 5p would’ve been ideal.
And for the people that work Fridays?
No matter what time it is someone will be unhappy other than a start time between 6-8.

Just so I get this right...Thursday night at 10pm is a horrible time slot because everyone has to work on Friday...however, Friday at noon is an ideal time slot.

New prediction. If Funk makes 8 3s against Texas we'll win. That's unlikely so we're going to need a lot more from Lundy and Wynter.

Also from Njie, Henn, and Dread defensively.
