I'm just curious, Why do you guys engage this attention-seeking clown? While I've had him on Ignore for over a year now, it appears that many of you guys are still feeding into his sh*t. Just curious as to why.

You mean like dedicating an entire thread to him?

I don't have him on ignore because he is a recovering addict. If this board keeps him from relapsing, I will keep my positive attitude, find a solution, and be kind.
I'm still clean and sober. 1 day at a time. Thanks for your sincerity and decency...it's refreshing compared to the 82 Bordeauxs and the frat boy Jeffies of this board who act like they are superior.

Allow me to add that yes in fact I do have inside sources and this was just proven earlier today when I was the first poster in here to call the Rhoades hire in basketball which I called a week ago. And I don't even follow basketball.

It's also fascinating how all the hate came about: I was on here as recently as December and getting like after like from most of them...then as soon as I voiced a descending opinion about our lineup...how a few of our guys were not producing, how Facundo had regressed...etc...they all piled on...

My theory is that they are so desperate to be "one of the gang" that as soon as one of their "leaders" shoots out a hate post, they all pile on mindlessly. Think for yourself. This is a message board and no place is it written where I have to like and agree with a grown a$$ frat boy who still plays the bully like Ole Jeffie boy...In fact I have a good friend that used to post here who hates his guts and has a ton more respect In wrestling circles than he does. That's one of the reasons he hates me so much 😆 🤣 😂

I have another good friend who I know from recovery groups who was in fact a piaa state champion in the late 90s from district 10. You would be surprised how many former wrestlers struggled with addiction...

Not a frat boy. Not an insider. I'm not even an insider on this board who engages in the typical back and forth banter but I also think you come across as schtick and the times you are correct you are boastful but I cannot recall admitting errors. Not trying to start something here but thought maybe feedback from someone else that somewhat agrees with them might alter your perception. Also strengthening your position through anonymous name dropping seems immature.

What's immature is 20 posters all jumping on one poster because one of them felt offended.

It's either that or all twenty people simultaneously independently concluded that what you write is stupid garbage that you pull out of your ass. I'll leave it to the reader to decide.

I thought humility was part of the program. Sit! Close your eyes! Your incessant desire for approval shows that work is yet to be done.

I congratulate you / him on being and staying sober.

When I first joined this board, I could be an argumentative a$$hat. I was called out for it and (in my opinion) modified my behavior accordingly.

(It was difficult; there were so many things I had waited for years to argue over!)

I think I’ve gained some level of acceptance since.

Some of what you post is interesting. But some of it also seems overly derogatory. And some of it seems completely made up. If you can stick to truth and try to be more supportive and less derogatory to PSU wrestlers (and other PSU sports), I’m sure folks will lay off. The internet may remember everything, but I find people generally don’t.

If you're not on the program you have zero right to talk about it.
That is simply not true. I am a recovering alcoholic. It will be 2 years on April 5th for me with zero slips. I talk to many people that are not part of the program about my past struggles and current situation. It is not a 1 size fits all program as am sure u know. Many people take many different things from the program and outsiders do and have offered great advice about it. I wish u well in your journey. We got this.

Moving forward best wishes, thoughts and prayers. Personally I do not know you, but I am damn proud of you none the less.

I'm nearing 12 years. I don't expect people to understand but if they are willing to help I accept it.

My first and only therapist was 100% book learned with no personal experience of alcoholism. I did not think she could help me. Took about 20 days for things to start to sink in. Boy was I wrong about her. I also learned a ton from many people with personal experiences. The slips and sips of others are what keep me going down this path. That sounds like a terrible thing to type but I really don't want to be the one telling my slipping stories. Staying strong is not easy but I got this for today. Tomorrow anything could happen but again I will tell myself I got this until I dont. Hopefully that day doesn't come.

Now if you could just give up the White Claw, you argumentative asshat 😎

Humility is to recovery like food and water is to staying alive. Anyone in recovery should know that. I know it's a board and I agree with too are saying. It would come across better if psugo would come across a little more bland especially when discussing our team but hey to each their own. I support PSU wrestlers. All of them injured or not.

I agree with all of this. In fact I think some on this board helped mold me into someone who could accept others and their opinions. The greatest gift I was given was getting banned from hr. It's been over five years and I'm grateful I can't respond to that garbage. I had no filter lol. Accountability is key and it is what separates is from everyone else

Congrats. I have 24 years and it's the best journey I've ever been on I still go to meetings. I can't keep what I have unless I give it away. It's all about helping others. Stay the course friend

The whole world has become so less tolerant of differing points of view, and social media has taught us all, apparently, that we should constantly SHARE our thoughts. Its all wrong. I, too, and frustrated by and expected more from Alex F. But he is a 20 (?) year old kid, a redshirt Fresh, and I’ve learned to simply root for him to get better and enjoy the progress i do see. And i appreciate the great team championship AGAIN. Nothing is ever perfect, and not all people will always agree. I think its fine for anyone to voice their opinion, even if it differs from mine. But I also wish people didnt need to share their opinions publicly when its negative opinions about an absolutley (by all accounts) fantastic young man. And if you DO feel the need to opine negatively - maybe a little more nuance.

I agree with this and supporting PSU wrestlers 💯 injured or not. However, I do believe you can have constructive criticism of the team, etc. and you can have that opinion and not get piled on. The board is an opinion board. But it certainly doesn’t lend itself to respectful dissenting opinion. There are a few on here who are as bad as some on HR. But yet pretend they are in an elitist class of opinions. I’ve been on this board for 2 months and it’s honestly at times pretty disheartening. If you wouldn’t talk to a human being like that in person than you shouldn’t do it here. And there is an awful lot of that going on here!

100% agree. Constructive criticism is a better word then the “nuanced” i used. Fine to complain here. But there is right way and an offensive way. Social media has made it too easy, and acceptable, to be offensive.

I agree with this everyone should be entitled of their own opinion and tolerance does go a long way something about social media has never felt completely comfortable due to the lack of personal communication that gets missed behind a key board
