Questions for the experts on this board.....,

Has anyone else heard that RBY will be taking a gray shirt?
Grayshirts typically don't sign an NLI, because they can't receive scholarship funds for a year they're not enrolled. Beard did not sign his.

RBY signed his NLI, which means any grayshirt would've been decided after November ... and it has yet to come up here.

Thanks Jefe, this makes more sense to me. I have no intentions on spreading rumors, someone posted it yesterday on a fb group I'm a part of and I wanted to see if anyone else had heard anything about it. I'm guessing it's fake news.

Beard delaying enrollment for a year and Brooks to OTC in Colorado Springs for a year is what I have read--I have not seen anything about RBY that would lead me to believe that he wont be in Happy Valley ready to roll next year.
Does this mean Dicemen should push Beard back a year on his spreadsheet like he did for Brooks?

Both Rasheed and Cassar as of now only have 1 year of eligibility left after this season. Cassar should easily get a 6th year if he wants it as he lost 3 years to injury. However, I don't see how Rasheed would even have a case to apply for a 6th year.

Cassar has 2 years of eligibility left after this season, however, he has only 1 year left to complete it in (as of now).

Just a technical distinction, but I was just involved in a long discussion about it so I thought I would point it out.

Pretty clear to me (maybe not the NCAA though) that Cassar should get a 6th year, that is assuming he wants a 6th year. In any case with Rasheed, Cassar, and Beard I feel pretty good about our future at 197.
