It only creates an allocation for the conference. It doesn’t qualify the wrestler who meets the criteria. They would still have to finish high enough in the Big 10 tourney to make nationals.

Interesting at 157. Jacob Butler for Rutgers is the starter and has a 70% winning percentage (7-3 record). If he loses to Haines and beats North from Maryland and Morrow from Bloomsburg his win % would be 69.23%. If he skips Haines and beats the other two his win % is 75%. Assuming he gets a coaches rank that would allocate another spot for the Big 10. He won’t have enough matches to qualify for RPI.

Yes Butler has a torn acl missed a lot of time. Same once he’s already had surgery on so just rehabbed some and came back. Not easy

125 - Davis should have been able to finish the scramble in regulation, as he was in the stronger position, and he almost gave it up. Good lessons learned though, and a nice job with the winner in SV.

133 - Nagao continues to look like his feet are in quicksand. Shawver was in so deep on his first two shots before Nagao even reacted. The last TD in SV was just a good counter by Shawver on a shot from distance by Nagao.
