Wow...I didn't catch this on the G-men Hard Knocks series.
That dude ain’t sleeping to well….🙂↕️
watch this. the cuts, acceleration, patience, and vision are the best. That dude ain’t sleeping to well….🙂↕️
Entire New York Giants team:
The second he broke into the clear on the first of the long TDs, you can see AJ escorting him for a bit then falling behind and yapping at a Ram defender trying to chase. It was pretty funnyNothing fake about Saquon. Brown said he's a phenomenal teammate, and I've heard that from the coaches and other players.
Saquon is one of those rare guys who is just as dominant in the NFL as he was in college. And the Eagles need to bring these uniforms back. Both are awesome.
I think Hurts was grinning because he was amazed at Barkley’s abilities. Kind of like a proud dad watching his son hit another of many home runs.I love the Eagles chemistry. After both of Barkley's long runs the broadcast showed Hurts with this ear to ear grin, so happy for him. Barkley has made Hurts' job so much easier this year.
And then when Gainwell broke two tackles in the 4Q for a TD, Barkley was off the bench into the endzone bouncing around in Gainwell's face to congratulate him. It might be fake but from what I can see he's a really good teammate..
Did anyone ever interview the defender that Saquon did the Barkley Flop over? Would interesting to hear his perspective .Saquon is one of those rare guys who is just as dominant in the NFL as he was in college. And the Eagles need to bring these uniforms back. Both are awesome.
Ouch!Entire New York Giants team:
292 carries 1,275 yards, 4.4 YPC Average, 8 TDs, 31 RECs, 324 YDS, 0 TDs.
That's gotta be the team RB stats only right? No way their WRs only have 31 catches with Nabors there who has been really good.Entire New York Giants team:

It better be or the GMen WR roster could be worse than PSU.That's gotta be the team RB stats only right? No way their WRs only have 31 catches with Nabors there who has been really good.
Nothing but gratitude for the Giants execs for letting Barkley go. They never should have drafted him the first place -- it was like acquiring Secretariat and using him to pull a manure wagon. So glad he was able to escape and find a team that can give him the opportunities the Eagles give him. That dude ain’t sleeping to well….🙂↕️
Numbers shouldn’t matter. See Gale Sayers. You can clearly see that he is one of the best backs of his era. He does things most others cannot do and he has time to do more. Hope he does not get hurt because he is one of the best ever.I’ve been checking Pro Reference for Hall of Fame comps. He’d be in good shape if just 2 more of those Giants seasons reflected his talent. He’d be around 8500 rushing yards instead of about 7000.
Anyway, let’s hope he stays healthy through this contract. He’s salivating being able to run behind Mailata, Dickerson and crew
Did you mean a "pitt bird"? Pitt again plays second fiddle to Penn StateSaquon with 124 today (1623 on season). 9th 100 yard game this season and he shatters Shady McCoy’s team rushing record in game 13. Shady was a shit bird so I’m glad Saquon has the record now
Record is 2105 right? He only needs 100.Saquon on record watch after a big 2nd half. He’s at 2003 and he’s likely done for the day with 10 min left. Needs 121 for the record against the Gints
Corrected it - 101 to pass him.Record is 2105 right? He only needs 100.
I agree. Then Barkley might be able to sit the 2nd half next week.Corrected it - 101 to pass him.
With the Cowboys D tenderized, I’d like to see one more possession for them to eat into the deficit
Are they really going to play him next week? Can you imagine the backlash in Philadelphia if he gets hurt?Saquon on record watch after a big 2nd half. He’s at 2005 and he’s likely done for the day with 10 min left. Needs 101 for the record against the Gints
It’s against the Giants. Everyone will go crazy when he gets the record against them. Are they really going to play him next week? Can you imagine the backlash in Philadelphia if he gets hurt?
I seriously doubt he plays next week….same with Hurts. Are they really going to play him next week? Can you imagine the backlash in Philadelphia if he gets hurt?
I'm not sure if it has been mentioned in this thread, but the NFL seems to be ignoring the additional game that has been added to the season when discussing the setting of new records.I'd love to see him play next week and grab the record. But for him to get 101, he needs the first team O, or most of it, to be playing, and that is a risk to be playing all those guys. So, hopefully he gets the first half to gauge if he can do it. It is after all the NY football Giants, and a GM that totally disrespected him. It would be poetic justice to see him get the record in this game.
Eric Dickerson doesn’t know about OJ.I'm not sure if it has been mentioned in this thread, but the NFL seems to be ignoring the additional game that has been added to the season when discussing the setting of new records.
For those that do not know and to add perspective to his accomplishment, OJ Simpson ran for 2003 yards in only a 14 game season.
And while it definitely does not detract from what Saquan has achieved in his MVP caliber season this year, it should be noted accordingly IMHO.
I read an article about the previous 2000 yard rushers in the NFL. It stated that all of the previous players who achieved 2000 yards did so in 16 games.Eric Dickerson doesn’t know about OJ.
He will play.I seriously doubt he plays next week….same with Hurts.
lol. Good article and editor.I read an article about the previous 2000 yard rushers in the NFL. It stated that all of the previous players who achieved 2000 yards did so in 16 games.
I guess the author and their editor were just as aware as Dickerson.
IIRC, all of Jim Brown's seasonal rushing totals for the Browns in the 1960's were achieved in only 12 games.
Chicken Man pointed out that Saquon’s yards per carry is higher than Dickerson’s anyway.I'm not sure if it has been mentioned in this thread, but the NFL seems to be ignoring the additional game that has been added to the season when discussing the setting of new records.

I think the Giants would be impacted more if Saquon won the Super Bowl than set the record. It would be an indictment of their whole organization.I'd love to see him play next week and grab the record. Ah. And OJ was 6.0 in that year.Barkley has fewer carries than Dickerson. The number of games played is not necessarily the holy statistic to live by here. Saquon has more yards per carry.
No matter what happens next week Saquon has already put himself on an elite NFL list being a 2000 yd rusher.Ah. And OJ was 6.0 in that year.
Saquon is an absolute monster.
Sorry, an absolute fast monster.
