if "Nick Lee regressing" isn't the summit of Mt. Impatience, it's close enough to see the top without looking up.
He'll be fine once he gets in the college room, but boy did NLWC do nothing for him.

Nick Lee and Nick S. are both improving big time !!!! We will be fine. If we get McKenna even better then Lee can red shirt....Zain is looking great....Nico would have won the match if he would have went on his regular offense...All defense...Very strange for him....
Gilman is a USA wrestler now and therefore I am rooting for him. Looks really good. I always thought he had all the talent he needed, but problem was between the ears (which I relate to). Looks like he may be figuring that part out.
Will be interesting to see if he can keep it up.

Gilman has figured absolutely nothing out between the head with the way he was talking smack before this tournament. Whether he backs it up or not is irrelevant. The fact that he continues to talk smack is the point. No class.
Never realized how similar Martinez's style is to Dake. That was like the master vs the student there.

I dislike that part about him, but I'm talking about handling the pressure of a big situation. In the moment. Big difference. Not many can do it. That is what separates the greats from the "best".
Like I said, we will see....if it continues. I said he MAY be figuring it out. I don't expect to see him at the top at the end of the day, but he seems to have made a lot of progress (mentally) to my eye.
I don't consider it irrelevant. Guys who talk smack but can't back it up are just blowhards and deserve no respect. Guys who talk smack but back it up merit respect IMO, even though you may not like the guy or his trash talk.
Geez guys. Whoever wins 57 gets my support. At that point, none of the other stuff matters.

I love Nolf....he seems to have that occasional split second lapse at times giving up TD. Kennedy is tough but I think Nolf can beat him most times.
