Seth in the portal

We should probably just work a deal with Lock Haven to have the guys who won’t make the lineup go there. Still keep a relationship with PSU and their friends. Set up scrimmages and workouts with NLWC and it’s not in our conference.
It doesn't make sense for a whole lotta reasons but I'm pretty sure Scott Moore wouldn't appreciate LH being viewed as Penn State's farm club.

It worked for Kolat, and Lock Haven had a couple pretty good teams with Kolat there. I think one of those Kolat teams finished 5th or 6th.

Is AJ done there? I thought AJ went there so he would not have to compete against his brother for a spot. Wherever he ends up, best of luck Seth!
Looks like he's done. He's been wrestling 6 years not counting 1st year of unattached. He redshirt in 2020 and medical redshirt in 2021. So no covid year freebee

I definitely know it doesn’t make sense. Just talking nonsense. It’s pretty close proximity and making a second team in Pa that’s really good would really aggravate Iowa. I mean, since we pay our guys and have them all on juice. We might as well illegally collude with a D1 school next to us.

If the family is all in TN and as tight as they’re made out to be, is it possible he transfers to Tennessee Chattanooga to be close to family? It’d be a massive get for the Mocs

SDSU does make a ton of sense, I'm sure his brother had a great time, Brady is there, Damion Hahn is a fantastic coach and better person (and would be a great practice partner) But Seth definitely won't be short options, saw Bono and Reader both liked that tweet.

Cael's plan for each of the next 10 years

Their punting days are over, He's got a couple massive recruiting classes coming in.

I think this means Kerk is not taking a redshirt next year. If he was to redshirt, Seth would have stepped right into the starting role, an AA finish and big points for another PSU natty.

Is it possible that this portal move is more about football? I don't know how good he is so seriously asking.
Seems unlikely but who knows. He saw no playing time at PSU for his 1 year, and then did not return to the team. So football would likely require moving to a non-power (like a MAC team) or maybe a lower-division school.

But if he did that, maybe he could get a scholarship.

Could he do both at SDSU?

Could he do both at SDSU?
Good question. SDSU won the FCS national championship this year -- would they be willing to give a football scholarship to a guy who last played in Fall 2017?

No idea what their coaches think, but I suspect most would rather give a scholarship to a deserving walk-on, to keep the other walk-ons motivated.

Maybe he could play both, but I'd imagine Hahn would want him only for wrestling, and if he plays football, any money Hahn gives him would count as a full football ride.

Hahn would would free up money with a Sloan trade

They’d be a top 10 team if Moore agreed
