assuming he avoids certain Big Ten schools, I’d love for him to finish with an AA.

Fine. They get Seth and we get Noto then. Sounds good!We should probably just work a deal with Lock Haven to have the guys who won’t make the lineup go there. Still keep a relationship with PSU and their friends. Set up scrimmages and workouts with NLWC and it’s not in our conference.
It doesn't make sense for a whole lotta reasons but I'm pretty sure Scott Moore wouldn't appreciate LH being viewed as Penn State's farm club.We should probably just work a deal with Lock Haven to have the guys who won’t make the lineup go there. It worked for Kolat, and Lock Haven had a couple pretty good teams with Kolat there. I think one of those Kolat teams finished 5th or 6th.It doesn't make sense for a whole lotta reasons but I'm pretty sure Scott Moore wouldn't appreciate LH being viewed as Penn State's farm club.
Then why the instagram post? He’s going to go to South Dakota State I’m sure
Is AJ done there? I thought AJ went there so he would not have to compete against his brother for a spot. Wherever he ends up, best of luck Seth! He’s going to go to South Dakota State I’m sure
Looks like he's done. He's been wrestling 6 years not counting 1st year of unattached. He redshirt in 2020 and medical redshirt in 2021. So no covid year freebeeIs AJ done there? IIRC Zach moved to State College too.Didn't his family move here to PA? Or was it just Nick?
In a trade for Sloan? He’s going to go to South Dakota State I’m sure
Nick, Zach and the parents are all in TN now along with the 4 or 5 grandchildren! I wouldn’t doubt that AJ would like to find a job there too. They’re a pretty tight family.IIRC Zach moved to State College too.
Exactly !!!!! 😂Fine. They get Seth and we get Noto then. Sounds good!
I definitely know it doesn’t make sense. Just talking nonsense. It’s pretty close proximity and making a second team in Pa that’s really good would really aggravate Iowa. I mean, since we pay our guys and have them all on juice. We might as well illegally collude with a D1 school next to us.It doesn't make sense for a whole lotta reasons but I'm pretty sure Scott Moore wouldn't appreciate LH being viewed as Penn State's farm club.

Penn State’s backups could be a top 10 team. Checks out.It worked for Kolat, and Lock Haven had a couple pretty good teams with Kolat there. I think one of those Kolat teams finished 5th or 6th.
They beat Penn State in a dual.It worked for Kolat, and Lock Haven had a couple pretty good teams with Kolat there. I think one of those Kolat teams finished 5th or 6th.
Seems unlikely but who knows. He saw no playing time at PSU for his 1 year, and then did not return to the team. So football would likely require moving to a non-power (like a MAC team) or maybe a lower-division school. Is it possible that this portal move is more about football? I don't know how good he is so seriously asking.
Could he do both at SDSU?Seems unlikely but who knows. He saw no playing time at PSU for his 1 year, and then did not return to the team. So football would likely require moving to a non-power (like a MAC team) or maybe a lower-division school.
But if he did that, maybe he could get a scholarship.
Good question. SDSU won the FCS national championship this year -- would they be willing to give a football scholarship to a guy who last played in Fall 2017?Could he do both at SDSU?
Hahn would would free up money with a Sloan tradeGood question. SDSU won the FCS national championship this year -- would they be willing to give a football scholarship to a guy who last played in Fall 2017?
No idea what their coaches think, but I suspect most would rather give a scholarship to a deserving walk-on, to keep the other walk-ons motivated.
Maybe he could play both, but I'd imagine Hahn would want him only for wrestling, and if he plays football, any money Hahn gives him would count as a full football ride.
Correct. Here were the results: https://www.pennstatewrestlingclub.org/history/index.php?view=meetresult&meetid=867They beat Penn State in a dual.
Also the same year as this match. I don't think it's the best I've ever seen, contra the video title, but it was legendaryCorrect. Here were the results: https://www.pennstatewrestlingclub.org/history/index.php?view=meetresult&meetid=867
McCoy redshirted that year.
Penn State lost 7 of 10 matches. Abe and John Hughes didn't wrestle. IDK why.
Incredibly, this same PSU squad then managed to finish 2nd at nationals.
They’d be a top 10 team if Moore agreedIt doesn't make sense for a whole lotta reasons but I'm pretty sure Scott Moore wouldn't appreciate LH being viewed as Penn State's farm club.
