I watched the game in a sports bar, where it was often hard to hear the broadcast. At one point, I thought they showed Rahne in the press box. Was he up there or on the sideline?

Thanks, guys. That's what I thought. Moorhead was on the sidelines during his time at Penn State. Which do you think is better? On the one hand, you get a better perspective of what the offense and defense are doing from the press box, but the downside is that you can't communicate with the players so readily.

Rahne was in the box all year and felt more comfortable there. He is in communication with Franklin, Gattis, and the new TE guy to make sure there is no miscommunication. Seemed to work out fine except on that gawd awful backward pass from Trace to Miles.

Thanks. Whatever works. It worked for the most part tonight. :)

SPORTS. BAR.

We watched the game with an alumni group in a side room. They had the volume turned up during the game, but it still was hard to hear much of the time. Before the game, my wife and I were in the main room near the bar. Of course, they had the volume turned down on all TVs and played trite music loudly. "Shut up and dance with me!"

Gruden used to OC in box for Eagles, I always thought that was better for an OC - to get a better look at D.

And like you, I was watching st a bar/grille. I thought the font on the on screen scoreboard was impossible, I had to have my iPhone out to have a clue on down, distance, time, etc.

Yeah, I think it is better to be in the press box for the reason you said. It should be easier to make adjustments.

We had the same problem tonight. The TVs were too small and too far away. Some of these sports bars are set up poorly. At least we were in good company.
