I did K - 12 in Catholic schools when the nuns taught. The marketing people at Lincoln obviously never learned grammar and about different tenses.‘We’ve got some really cool cars coming out soon so buy one today?”
Why wouldn’t one wait?
Despite the anti-Catholicism shown on ”1923” the nuns were the absolute best!I did K - 12 in Catholic schools when the nuns taught. The marketing people at Lincoln obviously never learned grammar and about different tenses.
But my next car might be a Lincoln.
Especially for grammar. I shudder at some of the posts here. We need a nun with a ruler to straighten out some posters. I am sure somebody will post an appropriate GIF.Despite the anti-Catholicism shown on ”1923” the nuns were the absolute best!
If it is, buyer beware --- most Lincoln models depreciate faster than any other car in the marketplace.I did K - 12 in Catholic schools when the nuns taught. The marketing people at Lincoln obviously never learned grammar and about different tenses.

The problem with the well intentioned, but also quite ignorant, Catholic "Indian Schools" was that the objective was to rid the students completely of "their" native ways and culture and replace them with "our" ways and culture. This was true not only in Catholic schools, but most of the many religious schools --- some as far away as Pennsylvania and New England. Never was there any consideration that maybe, just maybe, "we" could learn a few things from "them". There are many very similar parallels in the British Empire of during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.Despite the anti-Catholicism shown on ”1923” the nuns were the absolute best!
This is true but what does this have to do with buying a Lincoln? The problem with the well intentioned, but also quite ignorant, Catholic "Indian Schools" was that the objective was to rid the students completely of "their" native ways and culture and replace them with "our" ways and culture. I was responding to MacNit07's post re the anti-Catholicism in the series 1923, but you're right --- the thread got off trackThis is true but what does this have to do with buying a Lincoln?
