Some of the PWC match ups(Dapper Dan)

182 - Greg Bulsak 14-8 over Keegan Moore. PA 3-0.

Bulsak headed to Clarion. Moore a top 15 recruit, headed to Pokeville.

195 - Sammy Colbray (Oregon, Iowa State) 6-4 over John Jakobsen (Stroudsburg, Lehigh). Team USA ties it 3-3.

220 - Matt Stencel (Ohio, Central Michigan) 6-3 over Jake Robb (Armstrong, Mercyhurst). USA 6-3.

This likely would've been Jordan Wood's spot if he hadn't missed the postseason with injury.

HWT - Shawn Streck (IN, Purdue) 8-4 over Jake Beistel (Southmoreland, football recruit). USA 9-3.

113 - Danny Vega (AZ, college free agent) 16-5 MD over Gage Curry (North Hills, American). USA 13-3.

Vega is this year's Jordan Conaway -- was headed to Grand Canyon, and then they cut their program.

120 - Tyshawn White (Central Dauphin, Lock Haven) 10-6 over Tyler Warner (OH, Wheeling Jesuit). USA 13-6.

132 - Luke Pletcher (Latrobe, Tanning Bed U.) 23-8 TF over Owen Doster (IN, Wabash). PA 14-13.

Doster was an emergency fill-in after Chad Red failed to make weight. He also wrestled in the WPIAL vs. Indiana prelim.

138 - Mitch McKee (MN, Goofers) WBF 3:46 over Mickey Phillippi (Derry, Virginia). USA 19-14.

Moore having a tough go in these all star meets.

Really like McKee, hopefully his potential isnt wasted at the next level. I think he could be somebody.

145 - Mike Carr (South Fayette, He Be Illin') 1-0 over Hunter Marko (WI, Goofers). USA 19-17.

Hidlay another bucknell legend product....which by the way was represented well at flonats yesterday

152 - Hayden Hidlay (Mifflin County, NC State) 3-1 SV over Griffin Parriott (MN, Purdue). PA 20-19.

160 - Drew Hughes (IN, Michigan State).6-0 over Jake Wentzel (South Park, Pitt). USA 22-20 with Mark Hall left. Not looking good for PA.

Hughes is another emergency fill-in (for Bullard's back injury) and is a top 50 national recruit. He pinned Anthony Welsh (PA 3rd, Clarion commit) in 1:03 in the prelim.

Austin Bell just took down Mark Hall. This will not end well for Bell.

Love bells spirit. Hall knew he was in a fight in PA.

Bell > Marinelli ??????

170 - Mark Hall (Face of Minnesota Wrestling) 8-4 over Austin Bell (Belle Vernon, Pitt). USA 25-20 final.

Carey Kolat lost in the Dapper Dan, it's a challenge no matter how great you are.

Marky won the match, comfortably. Yes he got taken down, know who else got taken down last week? Kyle Snyder, twice, Imar, twice, and Zain, once.

Love Mark Hall - he is soooo Penn State - perfect match. Love that he ended with that "We Are!" Totally awesome! Still so psyched to see him wrestle for us!

Mark Hall is the consummate Penn State wrestling recruit: High powered, scoring machine, has fun, super tough competitor, and overall great young man.

It's what Cael does, it's what we are all about.

Cary Kolat and Chris Bono wrestled to a 4-4 tie in 1992.

Enjoyed watching this lots go good wrestling and lots of talent. Can see why Pa has the studs. There clubs and high school coaches must do a excellent job of teaching mat wrestling. That saves a college coach lots of time to work on other areas. Only match I guess wrong that Carr kid I would have bet he was headed for the Pokies.
Hall didn't want to embarrass the Pa boy cause he coming your way. ;)

Marky basically eluded to the idea that from now on, every time he goes on the mat, he is going to get everyone's A game. He is in that process now of putting that in his input center. He said it was good experience on how to finish matches. I think he just had a sort of bad start, but came back and got the solid win, which was also good experience, you won't start out each and every match perfectly. Overall, He is right on track, ready for the next step in the process and already supporting his new family in State College. He fits right in already.
