Does anyone here think Rutgers football should get the death penalty to put it out of its misery?
Still some idiots on the Rutgers board who feel PSU should have gotten "death penalty."

Don't they kind of have it worse. They have to watch RU get beaten like a drum every single year. They just want to hope that someday they could be relevant....but instead....they just worry about PSU and something that occurred 7 years ago now. It's why RU is RU.
From their perspective I'm sure it beats talking about Rutgers football.
Saying Idiots and Rutgers Board is kind of redundant.
As the old saying goes.... If you can't beat someone at football, pray they get the death penalty.

I thought their program was one long excruciating death penalty from beginning to end.
OSU, PSU, MSU, UM, UMD and IU could all get the death penalty and RU would STILL not win the B1G East!!
Could have stopped with idiots on the Rutgers board. Nothing else needs to be said.
Even if we had the death penalty, we'd still out-recruit them and beat their asses.

For a "who cares" thread it got a bunch of comments. You almost have to feel bad for rutgres.... they almost come close to being competitive every now and then... the state has talent (which we tend to gobble up) so the possibility of becoming decent is always in play... but then they have to actually PLAY the game. Sigh.
And they will always hold on to "if only SB had come here" ... .to which SB says, omg, did i ever get this one right.. but i digress...
Rutgres is the the sad little engine that thinks it could... maybe... ohhhhh if only... but never will. Sux to be them.
Bright side... SB plays for the Gints.... opportunity to find an enjoyable weekend view is there!!

I guess going forward we can expect a lot less yapping from the likes of OSU and MSU regarding our sanctions, which will leave us relatively "free" to ponder the bitter wisdom of the flagship school of NJ.
BTW, how many years was Zach Smith OSU's RECRUITING COORDINATOR?
Do you suppose Urby issued a full disclosure to those recruits that ZS was beating the mortal sh!t out of his wife and stalking her?
How about with recruits parents?

If your son decides that he wants to live a life of stalking and terrorizing his wife and children, we have coaches who can show him how it's done!
Nobody takes their spouses and girlfriends to the woodshed like we do--sometimes both in the same week!
