Suriano vs Fix

Everything is lost on you.

1. I said someone else excusing AA's behavior because "he did it first" was the argument of a five year-old. I never excused AA's actions.

2. I hope Rutgers communicated with the tweeter to let him know it was not appreciated, but the point about "class" relates to the whole culture of the Rutgers program and fanbase.

3. I know the place doesn't hold 9000. That's why I made a point about Flo's stupid tweet about 9000 tickets being sold in a post.

Wrong you're an idiot and reread your posts. Great analogy on the wine though! You are so refined.

Instant replay ruined professional football and I think it is far more of a danger to wrestling. What happened yesterday just can't happen. If they're going to use it, there has to be reasonable time limits along the lines of what John Smith suggested yesterday.
Tom Ryan would prefer limitless untimed reviews with sideline oxygen tanks.

Only took two posts to get personal, but no hard feelings, truly. The first reply was to presume I couldn't comprehend such a complex issue. That's cool and all, but when I come across people who can't explain their thought process or logical reasoning in an easy to understand and concise way, it’s usually a sign it's not very well thought out.

The notion Goodale has a philosophy of being conservative is unconvincing. If you cared enough to look into it, his thought process and what he is trying to accomplish at Rutgers is quite the opposite actually. He's been on record countless times over the past decade and laid out his thoughts and what his goals are. Has he had trouble implementing that vision? Like any coach trying to build a program, sure he has. It's not a straight line to success. To insert some type of misrepresented reality onto him is biased.
Saying I want my guys to score more and teaching offensive minded wrestling are two different things. Every coach wants their guys to score more, not every coach teaches offensive minded wrestling. Some teach retreat and look for your guy to attack carelessly. Some teach handfight and positioning.
Rutgers isn't known for their offensive diversity and offensive attack.

Suriano was sold that Donny was going to take him to new heights, Suri looks like the same exact wrestler he was when he left here though, just a little bulkier 133 now.
I think he has regressed a bit. He is not getting better for sure. Really who is pushing him in the Rutgers room?

Cael's post match press conference might be the funniest one yet to me.. Gave all credit to Bono and his guys for wrestling hard and put blame on himself by not having them ready to go.. Nomad questions sitting Cenzo after being on the dual poster and the hype of the marquee match up, and 51 in a row when Cael responds beautifully.. "yeah, I don't care about 51 in a row, we just want to do and be the best that we can and we didn't hype that match up, you guys did. Right"

Cael is my spirit animal.

If you do nothing but dance for 7 minutes, this is what you get. Hands to the face is the rule and is needed. Maybe a warning first. After seeing what Zain went through, I'm all for it. As Dana says, don't leave the match in the hands of the judges. Wrestle.

IMHO Rutgers has only themselves to blame for this new emphasis on hands to the face. Last years match against Penn State was more like a boxing match.

Just watched this match and Rutgers should have had several team points deducted for violating Control of the Mat rules and OK State should have more than 10 team points deducted. Would be nice if the refs decided to enforce the rules.

False. Rutgers attacks with the left AND right hands.
Hence, " the hands to the face rule this year"!
Last year's RU match was ridiculous between Deluca's punches and clubs to Zain's face and the "headbutt" offense of Gavina!
PS: I like Gravina but............
