Well that doesn't sound much like the people I know at allI watched it on FLO live. After the match there seemed to be some yelling by Teemer's corner towards DeSanto and then it sounded like Teemer's mom was being loud. Not sure if that is exactly what happened, but it seemed so on the stream.
DeSanto seems like a very nice kid, but sometimes during his matches he does some odd things (talking a lot, not talking smack at all, but talking during wrestling and restarts) which I'm sure people can take the wrong way in the heat of competition. I've seen him pat the ref on the back in the middle of a match, congratulate the opposing wrestler on a good move, etc.
Like I said, just going by the live stream. It could have been directed at/or from other people. And like I said, sometimes DeSanto does some odd things during matches that I could see people taking offense to even though I don't think the kid means it that way at all. Any interaction I've had with him, or heard from wrestlers who know him - he's a really nice kid.Well that doesn't sound much like the people I know at all
Thanks CropTeemer-DiSanto:
After initial scramble, they come back to the center. On the next restart, it looks like DiSanto went for a head tap that may have caught Teemer in the face. Teemer retreats and DiSanto comes close to a takedown that heads out of bounds. Ref stops and discusses it.
Then things get scrappy. DiSanto comes with some heavy hands, moving Teemer at will. Teemer tries to convert to scores. There's a sequence that goes out of bounds that both guys wrestle after the whistle near DiSanto's corner. DiSanto get s a takedown.
2-0 First period.
DiSanto lets Teemer up to start the 2nd. They both come with overhead snaps, hard. They make their way out of bounds and shoves begin. Looks like DiSanto said something. Teemer blast doubles DiSanto. DiSanto comes up and out right away, directly into an attack like a carry, keeps the arm, gets a takedown. 5-3 DiSanto, and Teemer takes injury time. DiSanto claps in frustration, as he had that elbow up high before Teemer called for IT for his shoulder. DiSanto gives him 1, 5-4. DiSanto stays in a 3pt stance on a knee for about a minute and they trade jukes. Ref double warns stalling, which Teemer got hit earlier.
6-4 DiSanto after 2.
Teemer's coach tries to dispute it with the ref. The tapper or time guy kneels down and says, "These guys are talking smack on the mat" or something to that effect. Teemer throws on a good cross-body ride with a leg in. DiSanto repeatedly bellies out. Teemer's corner chirps for a stall call. They get it. 6-5 at a restart. Looked like Teemer's coach told him to optional start, but Teemer elects to ride. Teemer comes close on a tilt, but DiSanto bridges through. Ends up coming out into a scramble position. No reversal, but DiSanto gets 1. 7-5, Teemer with 2 cautions, each wrestler been dinged for stalling. DiSanto gets into a front head, tries to step around, Teemer's arm stuck. Time expires and DiSanto kinda kicks over him. DiSanto makes a bee-line for the center, holds his hand out, claps the hand that he's holding out in what I would say is a "C'mon, get over here and shake my hand", and the match cuts out at DiSanto walking away with barely getting his hand raised.
I see fault on both accounts, I guess. DiSanto was a little unnecessary at the end, but the match was heated. Teemer definitely wrestled less, in my opinion. Is what it is.

Who freaked out?So, basically, no big deal. Why are people freaking out?
Who freaked out?
Things got REALLY chippy at the end of the match. Including shouting of the aggressive assault/battery/let's fight/gladiator-are-you-not-entertained type.
