Not a great start for Q2. Tesla might become a transformational company but they could also fail. It seems like mass producing vehicles does not come easy.
Anybody want to guess Q1 and Q2 earnings? Tesla lost $700 million in Q4 when they shipped < 2,000 Model 3s. They shipped nearly 10,000 Model 3s in Q1 but an extra 8,000 cars @ $5k profit margin each (probably a stretch) would only be $40 million.
