That bozo Narduzzi tweeted

Unlike Paul Chryst, Narduzzi is stuck at pitt and will be there as long as they are willing to put up with him. I predict he will be fired by 2020. Narduzzi can't recruit and doesn't do a good job on game day. He is a humorless, arrogant, a$$hole and shows this off to everyone around him. It's no wonder he gets mostly Akron leftovers as recruits. It will take pitt 10 years to recover from the failed Narduzzi tenure. In 2021 Narduzzi will be assistant linebackers coach at Eastern Alabama.

Let's look the reality of Pitt football. Assuming they beat UNC, they still have to beat either VT or Miami to avoid a losing season. Their recruiting is so lackluster they'll struggle to crack the top 50 nationally and the top 10 in their own conference. They also seem unlikely to land a major prospect from a school that has long been a Pitt pipeline. They lost to the other power 5 conference in their state by 19 and the gap between them is growing. When you're the head coach of that program, celebrating a loss that says nothing good about you and does nothing for you is just about all you have.

This post pretty much sums it up perfectly. That tweet by Narduzzi was a sign of MASSIVE desperation. His program had nothing going for it - nothing - so all he can do is relish in a one point Penn State road loss to the #6 team in the country.

I think it's pretty funny. Tweets like this confirm that Pitt habitually defines itself with reference to Penn State. Unwitting and unintentional as it may be on the Panthers' part, that is the highest form of flattery.

To me sPitt would be smart to can Nardouche and go after Schiano. Schiano knows all local high school coaches from time at Rutgers and OSU. He has a proven track record in turning around bad programs. Plus he has more class in his pinky than Nardouche. The cherry on top sticking it to spitters would be a former Nittany Lion coach under Joe at the head of their program

Shchiano would not take that job

Best part is JF will take the high road and store this little nugget away for next year keep his foot on the gas hang 60 on them and then go the gracious coach afterwards for a nice handshake
And Franklin got blasted for his Akron comment yet no one will say anything about this....why? Because Narduzzi and Pitt are completely irrelevant.

Franklin owns this guy just like Penn State owns the typical Pitt Yinzer. As of two minutes ago there were 17 Penn State threads on the liar! 17.

If we get two Pitt threads here everybody starts pissing and moaning about it.

17 threads. It's safe to say they envy All things PSU. Yes, envy.

Yep. It used to be: Sh!t on Pitt. Now it's: No one gives a sh!t about Pitt.

Pitt fan here. Honestly, I thought the comment was desperate as well. While the team has improved, we have a tough road to a bowl game and aren’t even close to PSU this year. We should be focused on ourselves. Tough game against the Buckeyes. Long way to go though... people wrote off Clemson last year when we beat them, and look what happened.

Officially, attendance was 30,000. I watched the game and the stadium looked like the pictures posted here, maybe, 10,000. It's interesting that they feel the need to lie about it. Also, considering how cheap the tickets are, their revenue stream from football is really low.

They wouldn't of reached 30,000 if they counted everyone's eyeballs at the game. TV purposedly tried not to show any crowd shots, it was that embarrassing. ACC football at its lowest. Virginia totally stunk yesterday as they have been their past three games.

I can't read thru this whole thread without potentially throwing up, but in case it hasn't been asked yet, I must.

Does Pitt give themselves keychains for a PSU loss that doesn't involve them?

No keychains, but another national title.

Somehow I see this guy as Nardouche in his basement...

If Franklin had this team at 4-5 with a crowd of 5k in the stands for his game and was tweeting that to the number two team in the nation losing a close one, I'd be embarrassed. That's about as pathetic as you can get.

PPP- The Peter Pan Principle. Some people NEVER grow up.

In the midst of their 4-5 season, you would hardly know Pitt was participating in the 2017 season until yesterday. I've heard hardly a peep from a Pitt fan on twitter or otherwise. Yesterday made their lives worthwhile, if only for a brief moment

Here is what they will find out the next few weeks: That was the best loss any 1 loss team will have in the country this year. Penn State will win out and be in the discussion for the playoff. Very few expected Penn State to win that game. They went on the road in a hostile environment and carried an 18 point lead into the second half. If not for a blocked punt and heroic performance by Barrett, the game was over. The CFP committee will see that and Pitt fans will have to swallow their tears and watch Penn State after their 5-7 season

So, to all the Pitters reading this, you would give up your first born, your trailer, and your momma to ever get a sniff where Penn State sits in the college football landscape. You will never see Pitt be anything but a doormat, so enjoy your short lived moment in the sun...but you will wake up this week and still be a fan of a team that hasn't been relevant since 1982
Wait, and who won the MNC that year? Wasn’t a bad year if memory serves...

They simply are not truly a P5 program. They are in a P5 conference, but they are UConn, they are Temple, they are Buffalo. That is Pitt. That is what they become. They should go back to cheating. At least it worked for them for a time.

If I was a fan or his AD or a member of their board I'd be pretty annoyed with it. He better worry about keeping his players out of jail and eligible, How to get to .500 and how to get a recruiting class in the top 50. LOL.
