Obviously, the whole world has seen it by now, however, is there a way he could have stopped it (had it taken down!)?

Not at all! I enjoyed it, in that have obsessive hatred of all thighs pitt. Strictly tech if not legal question. Only web base image of me is on a bow hunting site with grandson's 11 point!

Hmmm. Well I would think that erasing anything widespread from the internet would be a very heavy lift unless the content clearly violates rules of a platform and the video is only available there. The good news for you is that this special Pitt fan will be crying on the internet forever.

Ain’t no way that will ever be gone from the net. So his only recourse is to sue the network for showing him a couple times. No where on your ticket does it say you agree to be totally and forever humiliated by your attendance.

There is a very disturbing story out there often referred to as "Porsche Girl". Teenager got drunk, stole dad's Porsche, hit a highway toll booth at very high speed. A first responder leaked extremely disturbing and gory photos of the scene. Needless to say, it made a worst case scenario nightmare even worse for the family. Parents have been trying for years to clean them from the web. I will not look at them, but I believe they are still out there.

I don't think the Pitt Cryer would be successful.

Interestingly, the Pitt idiot that threw the beer at the OSU fan prior to a PSU game several years ago was my in-laws neighbor. That can still be found as well.

It would be very difficult to clear the video from the internet completely. Especially with free speech platforms.

Mainstream news is a different story. I know all the letters to the editor the “boy in the shower” wrote to local newspapers ardently defending Jerry Sandusky when the investigation was first leaked have been scrubbed. Even though these newspapers keep every other letter to the editor. But John Ziegler keeps a screenshot of one on his website.

Pitt was a 3.5 point dog and would have covered if not for the last minute pick six. This kid isn’t upset because he’s such a hardcore fan who hates losing even a meaningless bowl game, he’s upset because he likely lost a lot of money.

All he needs to do is secure rights to the NFT.

Or is this an NIL thing? Can anyone use another person's likeness without license? I guess if it not used for promotion or profit it's OK?

You can use it for profit. Literally the paparazzi/tabloid business model.
