The Ferrari Family Circus

Lost in AJ's antics is the fact he needed a blunder in the last 5 seconds of SV to beat the 25th ranked 197 while looking like the tired one between the two. I thought his layoff had no factor because he just works hard and he "won't forget how to wrestle" I was told he would instantly beat AB?

AJ's style from 2021 won't work anymore especially since as we saw yesterday, referees do not like him. Can see his edge wrestling and parallel riding being called.

An apology seems to imply he's still in.

I am choosing to flip from outrage to enjoyment. Let the shit show continue. The next several years are going to be like smoking in a dynamite factory. Sooner or later a dumb ass is going to toss a half lit match and miss the toilet.

Several years of Iowa fans on edge never knowing when, but silently acknowledging disaster is inevitable.

Can the Brands maintain control with three kids poisoning the room, and the old man and uncle Carmine breathing down their necks? I don't know that I would wish that on my worst enemy.

Team chemistry and loyalty in the age of the transfer portal should prove quite interesting as well.

A dose of reality, the biggest problem I have is it will more likely be an off mat scandal involving fast girls, fast cars, fist fighting, fast drinking, foolish social media, hopeful no gun accidents, and other untaudry behaviors done to excess that will embarrass the university and might cost the Brands their jobs. I just hope no innocent bystanders are taken out with them.

Morningstar looks to be thoroughly unimpressed there in the tunnel. He couldn’t even bring himself to look at AJ as he walked past.
That video shows without doubt that "AJ got his finger stuck in Glazier's headgear" is absolute BS. When the bout ended, Ferrari went out of his way to give a healthy push to the back of Glazier's head.

We knew this to be true anyway, but the video completely refutes the "stuck finger" garbage.

Are you being serious right now? Years? It took a month. Anthony and AJ aren't even officailly at practice yet. During their HONEYMOON phase, AJ did what he just did. I personally thought he would be on good behavior until next summer. People comparing him to ADS and Spencer at the Salute last year is hilarious. ADS was on his SECOND chance and genuinely was a good person when not in the heat of competition. Spencer was a 6th year team leader, he has some leeway to occassionally be a d***. AJ is a guy who should be begging for another chance but instead is getting begged to. That's inherently the issue.

It's pretty obvious he and Anthony are not welcomed by the majority Iowa wrestlers and parents (Angelo very much is) and that's wearing on them. They think because of their talent, they should be getting their ass kissed and bowed down to by the team, similarly from the fans as well (hence why AJ hit his pose when fans booed him)

There is no smoothing this over. I repeat, they aren't even in the room yet. I will say though, Anthony's situation from yesterday is closer to a nonstory and it's only funny because Rathjen gave him his own medicine.

AJ's reaction should have been a dead giveaway, if it was a misunderstanding, you put your hands up and say " I'm sorry, I'm sorry" while walking away.

I just checked and you're now over 4 to 1. Nice!
Thats gonna change real quick and I'll be banned within hours of this post. AJ made his apology, the low life Hawk fans that visit HR will begin to protect him and his brother again and they will be begging the mods to get rid of me. This plays out quite often over there with me. Good thing I have 10 more usernames already registered and accepted so I can continue to torture them over being embeciles. :)

Candidly if they’ve made it this far, they’ll go all the way. The experiment will end with a much worse ending IMO.

Few Iowa parents are going public with the fact they don’t want their kids around him at this point. I’m very curious how a team vote would go also.
Worst damage is being done to recruiting. Lasts for years.

My gut and my imagination tell me that TnT still want him. 🤞

Of course they do they’ll sell there soul and the iowa legacy for what, a chance to get 2-4 at nationals. Pathetic. The real losers are the Iowa faithful who will watch this team go down the shitter. This will have long lasting recruiting effects for yrs. Never liked Iowa in the gable era, liked them less in the brands era, but hate to see a blue blood fall so bad.

10 more that you admit to.

The real winner is Cody Chittum. Saw it coming and got out before it hit.

So based on this weekends results, how many more points the Ferrari's will score for Iowa at the PSU duel, BigTen's and Nationals compared to current starters or existing wrestlers who beat them?

Not sure but just saying, maybe Ironbird needs to go back and recalculate his totals of the PSU/Iowa duel and Nationals.
Based on the following, maybe negative team points. (From the NCAA Rules Book): A flagrant misconduct violation during a tournament shall be penalized by the deduction of one team point, removal from the premises for the remainder of the event, declaration of the opponent as the winner and two team points awarded for advancement. Additionally, the wrestler charged with the flagrant misconduct will not be credited with points earned before the incident, nor receive placement points or an individual tournament award. That is quite the steep punishment.

Can the Brands maintain control with three kids poisoning the room….
Did you see Brands’ presser? He seemed pleased at Rathjen, who had just pushed little Ferrari and flexed on him. Said it showed Colby wanted the job.

Can Brands maintain control of the room? He seems to welcome the bad blood as a marker of potential success.

Not sure why any recruit would want in on that environment.

And imagine selling out so much for Anthony of all people. Dude gets drilled by the immortal Caleb Rathjen and can’t score an offensive point against Victor Voinivich. Can you imagine him going up to 157 next year and going against Haines or Mesenbrink? That would be Nolf vs Jake Ryan bad.

The philosophy of TnT in the room definitely contributes to the injuries of their wrestlers. It makes me think of Monty Python's ' Bring out your dead' after practice.

Really should have happened the year Hawks won NCAA when Destanto threatened to kill an NCAA official. Would have been poetic if he was DQ’d and his points stricken giving PSU the win.

Fredo of the family. It's tough. I know he believes he's on AJ and Angelo's talent level but he's simply not.
