3 teams each from the Big 10(14), the Big 12, the Pac 12 and the SEC.

2 teams from the Big East.

1 team each from the ACC and the West Coast conferences.

UNC got lucky as well, thought Ark had them beat. Terrible call by the refs late that cost SC a chance.

The none-call on the UNC charge with 45 seconds left was an absolute disgrace.

I agree that there should have been a call there (you can't have that much contact and no call).

So there are three calls that can be made:

1) Traveling: I don't believe this was traveling because the contact occurred before he completed his second step. I will agree that if you don't call a foul, then this probably should have been traveling, although I've seen worse non-call travels in the past week.

2) Charging

3) Blocking.

Many charging vs blocking calls are toss ups. I thought the defenders feet were moving slightly and the way his torso was moving gave an illusion that he was moving more than he was. So he was moving, which means I think you can call a block there. Conversely, you could argue he wasn't moving that much and Berry initiated the contact. However, the rule doesn't say "well, you can move a little and it not be blocking"

So yes, a bad no call, but I think Berry is on the line there shooting two if the correct call is made.

Late game non calls are a disgrace. Every foul called in a game Affects the game wether it is in the first 30seconds or the last 10 seconds.

Some things never change. Bunch of teams from back East got the bulk of the NCAA bids. The Pac 12 and WCC got a grand total of six. Four of those six teams are in the Sweet 16.

Half the posters on here have been complaining that officials need to swallow their whistles at the end of a game so they don't influence the outcome and let the players decide. Then when they do let them play there's complaints about not making the call. Can't have it both ways. They either eat their whistle or they call it tight.
