This could have gotten me in trouble. Say nothing.

When I criticized my nephew for an earring or another nephew for long hair, does that make me racist?
That makes both of your nephews complicit of female appropriation. I'm surprised they haven't had pictures taken, gone viral, been doxed and lost their jobs by now..... Not to mention the pound me too movement.

Again, that's your opinion. You are trying to use logic to prove that something is not indecent, but decency is more nuanced than that. It has to do with people's feelings, cultural norms and more. It's subjective, and that is OK. People struggle with the notion tha laws are subjective by nature.
Again, that’s not my opinion. That’s the fact of how indecency is legally defined. Like it or not, laws are usually a very good representation of cultural norms and collective judgments; that’s how they got be laws in the first place. When cultural norms change over time, laws will usually follow. Whether or not there are individuals whose subjective opinions differ is irrelevant; outliers do not define the norm.

What if only 60% of the people said murder should be illegal? Should murder be ok then?
We would have MUCH bigger problems if 60% of the populace felt murder was ok, than what the law says. Unrealistic much? Sophomoric much?

If gravity were reduced by 50 percent, should the strike zone remain the same size, or get bigger?

Learn to quote properly, it was if only 60% felt murder should be illegal. Make it any percentage that pops your cork other than 100%, the gist of it remains the same. Point of my post being, some laws should prevail regardless of the approval rating, even if it were 0% approval. Every law has an aspect of morality to it, otherwise anarchy reigns.Think before you type, it might work better for you.

For example typing nonsense to cover your stupidity, as you did with your last sentence, doesn't work either.

Different towns define indecency differently. In Flint, Michigan, sagging pants is considered indecent exposure. The definition is subjective. There is no exact formula for it.

0%??? Lol. Whatever you say. Sure.

I'm glad to see that you agree that I'm right. We're already at over 50% of the country approving of murder in this country. Well on our way to 0% if our morality continues to plummet. And when we get there you would agree with me that murder is still wrong wouldn't you? Especially when we're killing innocent helpless children.

I was pulling out of a parking lot yesterday when a young African American male walked by. His jeans were down below his ass in the back, exposing his underwear. Literally, his whole ass covered by underwear was exposed. Ridiculous and gross.

For a split second, I thought about rolling down my window and telling him to pull up his pants. Then I thought the better of it. I could see being labeled RACIST. and the situation making its way to social media. Just what I would need, of course. Perhaps more relevant, it wasn’t my business. I didn’t know the guy, and it’s not like he was in my living room.

Sometimes, many times, it’s best to resist the temptation and say nothing.

If society doesn't ostracize asinine behavior, what does that say about society?

All is not lost. I get ostracized all the time. It should bother me, but like you said, society. If people stop ostracizing me, we all should worry.

Do you tell random strangers how to dress or wear their hair? Most normal people do not and you don’t get a trophy for it either.
The point you seem to be making is that it’s none of my business. I’m not arguing this point. I’m only pointing out that it’s not inherently racist to prefer short hair, no tattoos, etc.

Again it has nothing to do with your personal preferences. Everyone has them, but who goes up to strangers to tell them how they should look. Only an a-hole would. Whether or not they are racist doesn’t trump the fact they are an a-hole.

Why do you keep arguing with me. I never said I condoned that guy sending the letter to Sunderland. I don’t write letters to players, tweet at recruits, or even ask for autographs. I’m just saying that not everything is racially motivated.

That is the whole problem today. People are afraid to say anything. We have been brainwashed by the politically correct. At 81, I tell it like it is, if you don't like the truth , too bad.

43% of people seem to think that's it's ok for a deadbeat draft dodger to be President- that doesn't make it right

So I was helping out at my daughter's school for her 3rd grade Halloween party, and one of her friends was dressed as a "shadow." It consisted of an outfit that reminded me of someone from the blue man group, but a different color. I thought about asking her if she was part of a group, with a similar name to the blue man group, but I thought better of it.

Clinton or Obummer?
Clinton and Trump both are draft dodgers. Neither did or will get my vote.

Obama was not subject to the draft, so could not have dodged it. I didn't vote for him, either.

You're right about Obummer but he would have dodged it if there was one. He wouldn't have passed the physical anyway with all that cocaine in his system.

well, you can make all of the unsupported claims that you want to- but that doesn't mean shit to me

the other two- their history is well known and at least one of them seems to be alright with you- I wonder why that is

Obummer himself said it, it's not unsupported.

As far as the other being alright with me, not being in the military is not a disqualifier I do believe. It's called freedom to like who I want. Besides he's doing a fabulous job in making America great again!

How did we go from debating the merits of exposed man-ass to discussing draft dodgers?

Society would be better if people were not afraid to comment to someone who dresses offensively in public. Anyone who walks around with exposed underwear is either ignorant or a jerk.

Yeah, you mean like Sharia law? Great society there. You seem like you could fit right in there. Maybe uniforms or a military state as snowflakes like you get offended by differences on how people dress.

LOL. Yeah, just imagine if the real world was like an anonymous message board. I'd think you'd get tired of people calling you a dumb**** everyday.

Sharia law? What a dumb thing to say! You do understand the difference between people speaking freely and oppression, right?

And none of this has to do with having problems with people dressing differently. Walking around with your underwear showing goes way beyond that. When Obama publicly criticized it, did you call him a military dictator?

There is a difference between a person speaking in general terms about what he would prefer, and passing a law to criminalize it. There is also a difference between singling out 1 guy, and just saying in general what you think.
