This Spencer Lee wrestler kid from Franklin Regional is insane confident and good wish we got him...

Cael will just have to be happy with the 3 other world teamers he recruited yet to hit campus

I wish Spencer and all PA guys well, truly, but it will be very difficult for Iowa as a team to outpace ours for the foreseeable future.

If 133 is shored up next year we will not be challenged for yet another national title.

1. Spencer Lee is a great wrestler
2. Cael is not struggling with recruiting, or anything else for that matter.
3. Nick Suriano is going to wrestle at Nationals, beginning Thursday.
4. Yes, Iowa and the Brands brothers do a great job recruiting lightweights, BUT it also helped them, that both Lee and Teasdale were "persuaded" in the direction of Iowa City, by their club coach, who is an Iowa grad.
5. Yes, the above statement is true, EVEN though both Nolf and Retherford decided to wrestle at PSU for Cael.
6. Spencer Lee is not 100 percent right now, but is still wrestling tough.
7. You'll see the same thing come Thursday, from the Penn State 125 pounder.

133 will be fine next year as Cortez will be back. He was nationally ranked before having to forego the season due to a shoulder injury. PSU would probably be taking 10 wrestlers to the NCAAs if he had stayed healthy.

Hopefully he will be fine. No one can guarantee it.
That's true but I am assuming (key word) that he will be back and ready to go by October. I did not hear or read anything that suggested the shoulder injury was very serious. Obviously, it was serious enough that he could not go any longer this season but I am optimistic that he will be ready to wrestle at 133 come early November. He may have to change his wrestling style and learn to throw salt in the opponent's eyes or hide brass knuckles in his singlet. If Cael distracts the referee all sorts of mayhem can ensue. Oh wait, never mind, wrong wrestling. ;-) Would love to see Retherford come off the top rope though. ;-)
